? about extending wish trip

I know some of you have extended your wish trip on your own dime.
Can you buy discounted Disney tickets at GKTW?
Stupid question coming.....but extending your trip doesn't change the cost of airfare does it?
I am trying to see if we have the money to extend our trip.
I am thinking we would only need money for:
1 extra day tickets at Disney
hotel room for 2 nights
food
rent a car for 2 extra days

Can you think of anything else?

I think I can answer some of these.

Most MAW chapters will either arrange the dates the way you want them and therefore have no charge to the tickets. Or they will give you the tickets and then you would have to change them...which could cost about $50 per ticket. Check with your MAW chapter on that.

The only other thing I could think of was parking. It is $12 per day if you stay off site.

And tips...for food and hotel staff, etc.

Can't think of anything else major...

I hadn't thought about parking!
I will just have to ask our wish granter.....when she/he finally calls!

We extendedour wish trip and the only thing we had to pay extra for was the car hire!!
Our wish organisation was fantastic about it and was only too pleased to help us rrange the extra bits!
If you stay at gktw the wont have to pay for parking tey give u a pass and we were able to usethis for our extended stay too !!
We also found that we had no need to buy any more tickets the tickets from gktw were more than enough to see us through we just saw the parks a t a more leisurly pace!!
The timetable at gktw is so full that if you want to get the best out of there its difficult to do both the activities there and see all the parks !!

We tried to extend my daughter's trip to disneyland and it was too much of a hassle , we would have to return our rental car and get another one ( couldn;t keep the same one and just pay the difference ) and we had to pay for the extra day ticket. We ended up not going to Knottsberry farm and purchasing a one day ticket on our dime. We did not extend the stay as we did not want to spend three hours driving to the airport to return a rental and pick up another car. It just wasn't worth it.
