?? about Early Entry

Just curious how to go about getting early entry? Does it come with certain tickets? Or do you have to pay extra? We bought the So Cal City passes and planning on hitting DL on this Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday and thought we might try and early entry day if possible.

Depends on the tickets you buy actually. For example most 3 day park hoppers come with 1 day of early entry thats encoded on the ticket.

I know that if you stay at the Disney hotels you get early entry every day that its offered, and buying thru certain places (like getawaytoday.com) they might offer a special of 2 early entry days.

Disneyland Early Entry:
Early Entry is offered to select Guests of the Disneyland® Resort on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays 1 hour prior to scheduled park opening.

Eligible Guests include:

Pre-arrival domestic Guests who have purchased 3+ day hopper tickets.

Japanese market Guests who have purchased 2+ day hopper bonus tickets.
Tourist in-market Guests who have purchased 3+ day hopper tickets from local hotels or visitor centers.
Tourist outer market Guests (San Diego, LA) who have purchased 2 day hoppers.

I don't know for sure that the 3 day hoppers you get with the City Pass have EE, but if they do, it's on Thursday and Saturday during your stay. (you would get one if EE is included on your hoppers, unless you're staying at an onsite hotel, in which case you could get EE on both of those days)

Yes, that is correct.

EE doesn't make the park more crowded like at WDW. It does make the lines for a couple rides a little long before the park officially opens (Nemo, Peter Pan, Matterhorn, and Space mostly). However, not all of the park is open and so the entire left side of the park is fair game to everybody at official park opening time.

I have never heard of that. One day parkhoppers with EE? Do tell.

When I look at the Ares and Getawaytoday websites, they do not even sell one day tickets from what I can see. You must mean an extra EE day on multi-day tickets.

Yes, that is correct.

We are going next month, are staying at the DLH, and have four day hopper passes, and I got the impression that we only get to utilize early entry on one day. I guess I better check my travel documents a bit more closely!!! I so hope we can use it another day or two.

It won't be listed in your travel documents. Those will only mention one EE. However if you show your hotel charge slip, they will let you in on the other EE days as well.

If they are like Paradise Pier was when we checked in last month, they will hand you an info sheet with the info that you can partake in all offered EEs during your stay, AND they will tell you exactly what days that will be.
