? About DVC and the DDP....

We are planning a trip in May '08 and want to add the dining plan to it. Do we have to have the plan for all nights we are there just like a regular reservation?

If you're going to be staying at only one hotel, then yes you have to have it for the whole stay, but if you split your stay, you can just have the DDP for whichever parts of the stay you want to.

DDP must be purchased for the entire length of your stay (based on nights) for everyone in your party.

I've heard several answers to this, but the most common answer seems to be 3 days prior. You actually pay for the DDP at checkin.

It has to be added through MS prior to check in. The 3 days is a guide to make sure you make the cutoff otherwise.

And when considering the 3 days prior, don't cut it too close to the weekends and holidays. Just recently the website was up and down for several days and often MS closes in the afternoon if something comes up. So pad your wait a little. I'll be calling today to add it to my upcoming trip later this month.
