??? about Dollar car rentals

We are going to Disney for 2 weeks and want to rent a car for only a week. The best price we can find is through Dollar. Their drop off location is at the Courtyard by Marriot. I was wondering if I drop the car off there how do i get back. Is it close enough to walk to Downtown disney? use taxi? any suggestions will help...

The Courtyard is within walking distance of dt disney.

Dollar might shuttle you back to you hotel if you ask.

We have stayed at the courtyard several times, and I can tell you it is definitely within walking distance of DTD. I would say 10-15 minutes tops. It is a nice walk along a tree line road. Just becare when you cross other hotels driveways! Have a wonderful time!

There are also the Disney Village Buses which service the Downtown Disney Hotels..they run every fifteen minutes or so and you can easily catch a bus to the Marketplace, or walk it is only 10 or 15 minute easy stroll from there.. You could get there faster if you walked fast so an easy walk.

We always rent from Dollar and have to drop off and pick up at DD. It is a short walk from Downtown Disney... maybe a half mile or so. You can take a bus to DD and walk, though it is tough to get across the street sometimes. Take a close look at the pond on the side of the road, it is INFESTED with soft-shelled turtles! Dollar will pick you up and drop you off if you call, but we have never taken advantage of that. You can also hop on a DD RESORT bus (different markings than Disney busses, and "coach style" from a park and get dropped off at the Courtyard. You can also catch one of these busses to a park after you drop off your car. Hope this helps!
