I have my camera in the Dock 6000. The battery is charging and I already transfered my pictures. Do I have to keep my computer on while the batterey charges? And,the green ready light on the camera is blinking. Should it be?
I have the DX6340 model. Can someone help me out with this one?

The base charges the camera whenever the camera is docked. The computer being on or off has no effect.

The blinking light is supposed to represent the camera being in transfer mode. With newer versions of Windows the USB communication is constant, so the blinking does not stop when the transfer is over. Restarting your computer will make the blinking light stop.

Be careful to never remove the camera when it is transferring pictures. It can damage your memory card. To be SURE it has stopped tranferring, re-start your computer before removing the camera.

You should also check to see if your Easyshare software is current. There are updates available at the Kodak site.
