? about crowds in August

Thanks to the free dining plan, we are making an unexpected trip to the World. We are going Aug. 26(Sat) through Sept 1 (Fri). Does anyone know how the crowds will be this week since Labor Day weekend is right after we leave??? Part of me thinks that since school will have started it won't be too bad, but then again Labor Day is right after, so it might be packed. Anyone???

Honestly I went there last year during that week for free dining.. The longest wait we had was 45 mins for soarin in the morning... Everything else was 0-15 mins... IT WAS ABSOLUTELY amazing...ENJOY

We were there last year the last week of August and it was WONDERFUL! Like the poster above, the only wait we had was for Soarin'! It was so great that we booked again for the same week this year! Again with free dining-this time there will be nine of us staying at POP.

How was did you handle the heat. I enjoy the heat, but am worried about not being able to spend the time in the parks because of the heat. It is our first trip, still wondering if I should change my dates to November. Only thing is that in November the parks close at 6 and the sun goes down at 5. In August we have a full 8 hr day with sun, will be able to swim and packing will be much easier. Any Advice?

We've been to WDW in August when there was a heatwave in the Northeast and it was cooler in Orlando. We're going back this August. There's enough air conditioned places throughout the parks where you can duck into to cool off. We also brought bottles of water and drank a lot.
