We booked our flights for April 15 through cheaptickets and are flying on both united and continental. DH's father is very close to passing on Should we have to postpone the trip or, more likely cut a few days from the start of the trip, will we be able to get credit? We usually fly Southwest and they are pretty flexible. TIA

They might give you a small credit--basically what's left of the ticket after a $100 change fee is added. The only thing you can do is call and ask.

Do you have trip insurance? If you do, you should get a full refund.

If not, since you are likely flying on discounted (non refundable/non changeable) tickets, you'll likley be dinged for the change fee.
