We booked our flights for April 15 through cheaptickets and are flying on both united and continental. DH's father is very close to passing on :sad1: Should we have to postpone the trip or, more likely cut a few days from the start of the trip, will we be able to get credit? We usually fly Southwest and they are pretty flexible. TIA

They might give you a small credit--basically what's left of the ticket after a $100 change fee is added. The only thing you can do is call and ask.

Do you have trip insurance? If you do, you should get a full refund.

If not, since you are likely flying on discounted (non refundable/non changeable) tickets, you'll likley be dinged for the change fee.
