thinking of going and checking out celebration, any ideas on how to get there and how much it will cost us?

To get to Celebration, go east on route 192 from the World Drive Maingate exit (entrance) to WDW about a mile after crossing over I-4. Stay in the right hand lane, turn right at the light, go into Celebration and parking is easy to find.

There is no cost to visit, but you may want to eat at one of the restaurants downtown.

Depending on where you are coming from, 417 is a convenient alternative to get to Celebration from MCO.
Although visiting the town is free, there are currently a number of events going on at an extra charge, such as carriage rides and a holiday home tour, so bring some extra spending money. There are also nightly "snowfalls."

follow world drive south till it ends, turn left, after the apts on your right, turn right onto waterside drive, at the stop sign turn left (unsure on name of road), this will take you to the center of celebration. the other ways will get you there as well but this way its hard to get lost, as you never leave Disney until you enter celebration.
