? about buying Euro Disney pins for trading

I was looking on Ebay for pins to buy for trading, and found a bunch of sellers out of the country selling Euro Disney pins, most from sponsers like Kodak, etc. Are these tradeable? Or is there a good chance they are phony? The sellers do not say in the auction whether they have the Disney stamp on the back or not.

Most are okay. But a few of the spanish pins are not.
They need to be metal and have to have a Disney Backstamp... But as with most of the cheap euro pins. They are already all over the lanyards and while they can be traded they are hard to trade as CM's won't trade for a pin they already have on their lanyard... And most of the guest don't want them as they have pockets full of them...

Well I just got back from Disney and wanted to let everyone know what happened when I tried to trade the "cheap pins". The pins I purchased on ebay are very thin and lightweight. Most of them are black on the back and have a black edging. These pins did have the @Disney on the back but I understand these are the European pins. You can definately tell the difference between these pins and the official Disney pins.

Numerous times I had CMs tell me they would not trade these pins. Several told me they were plastic but it was very obvious they are metal. Several made negative comments when I tried to trade them but they did eventually trade with me. It was "hit or miss" whether it was going to be a pleasant experience. Acouple times one CM would take the pin to another CM and the second CM would tell them to trade the pins - it kind of got embarrassing.

So to eliminate anymore unpleasant pin trading experiences, especially when I go with my granddaughter in December, I will check the ads very carefully on eBay before I buy.

So eBay pin buyers, BEWARE.
