? about borrowing, need help quickly

I'm about to book a regular room (through CRO)for next month and availability is scarce so I have to act fast! I would rather stay DVC if there's availabilty, but don't think I can borrow points for this scenario: I have a December UY. All my 2011 points are used up. Can I borrow Dec 2012 points for an August 2011 vacation???? TIA

No, an August 2011 vacation would be in your 2010 use year. 2012 can be borrowed for a stay 12/1/11 and after.
