? about BCV Sellout

I know this has been commented on before but I don't remember the answer. Can someone please tell me what the current thought is on when BCV will sell out? We're trying to work out our finances but don't want to wait to long and miss out. Thanks!

I don't recall the current estimate - I believe it is sometime this spring.

However, before the VWL sold out (and I think also BWV), DVC sent members a ltter informing them. I'm reasonably sure they will do that again. Someone will post the info here, so if you keep an eye on this board, you'll have enough advance notice to buy in if that is your intent. FWIW, I wouldn't worry too much about "missing out". There will be BCV resales available.

Are the BWV sold out? I could have sworn when we were on our cruise last week and sat in with a DVC member, he told us the BWV was one of our options as our home resort.

BWV are available via resale. It is sold out for new memberships through Disney.

Currently, DVC is selling contracts at BCV, VWL, HH and VB. VWL was not available to new members for several months, but has recently been available for new contracts as well as add-ons.

BWV and OKW are readily available by resale purchase and occasionally as an add-on thru Disney when DVC obtains points thru ROFR or default.

Boardwalk was sold out at the end of Dec 2000. We tried to buy it in Jan 2001 and ended up with resale. We did get called later from the wl for an add on through Disney. Maybe they are buying a lot through ROFR so they can have something to sell when BCV sells out.

Just did an add on at BCV's and our guide thought they would be sold out by the summer.
Didn't ask if that was early summer or late summer LOL.
