? about autograph book 8 days to go HELP

I will bringing our own autograph book that is 8x8. I am still trying to figure out what will work best. Pulling the sheets out each time for an autograph or pulling them all out for the day or putting them onto a clipboard to help the characters out with signing??

Ruthie, when we went in June we had a 6x6 book. We kept the pages in the book and pulled them out for each signing. It kept them safer that way! We have a couple of pages we accidentally left on the clipboard and they got wet.

If you go to dinner and have several characters who are going to sign, then I'd pull all those out and put them on a clipboard, but then put them back into your book as soon as you can.

I'm still debating whether I'm going that route again, or spiral binding my pages for this trip. I figure if I cut the page a bit longer on the binding side, I can cut it off once I get home and then slide it into my book. Does that makes sense?

Yes that does make sense... so you recommend getting a clipboard then and having them sign on that???

Yep! Since we had the small pages, I was able to use a smaller clipboard, but I bet with the 8x8 size you'll need a full size clipboard.

We actually did 4 books, so I brought along 4 clipboards, but we really ever used 1 or 2. My DH was the one who kept changing them off and on for us (he's SO sweet!)

We used the clip board system and it works great. I was able to find a small white board and board clips at a teaching supply store. The clips allowed you to put paper on both sides of the board and clip each end. This was especially nice when two characters were together, just flip and you have a new sheet. Completed autographs were then removed and put into a ziplock bag for safekeeping.
