About adding dining to a MYWD package...

Hi! I'm trying to book my vaca to Pop century with the 4/3 deal.

If I book a package thru a tour operatior (Hotel+Air), would I be able to add the dining plan and tickets AFTERWARDS directly thru Disney??

Or if even if I purchase the 7 day hopper with the Hotel+Air package and have it confirmed - can I add the Dining plan to my pre-confirmed package??? How would I do this?

Depending on which tour operator you book through, you would have to call them directly and ask to have the dining plan added. Be sure to write down your booking number. You will need this number in order for the dining plan to be added to your package.

The dining plan can be added at any time prior to your arrival to Disney World. Remember it must be paid in full at time of adding it to your booking.

If you go to a CAA office they can book the entire package, incl. dining. You don't need to be a member to book there.

Depending on where you live it might work better for you to book the package from Disney and then book your own airfare.

The 4/3 deal includes 7 day passes. You can upgrade and add the hopper or WP&M option even after you arrive at the world.

I've checked with multiple tour operators and with Disney directly and there doesn't seem to be any benefit to using an outside source for your reservation. I may be missing something, but last time we booked with a TA and it got us nothing but hassle if we called Disney for a question or dining reservations. They made us call our TA to handle it. Now we booked directly with Disney, got all the same deals and we can call them with our res# any time with stupid questions and to book our reservations..and who knows Disney better than a staffmember...well, maybe the folks on the DIS!!!

In general this is true but the exception is CAA/AAA. If you book with them you will get the diamond parking pass and the diamond card. Plus, they will very easily call Disney with any questions that you have and they are paying for the call not you. As to ADR's you can call those in yourself regardless of how your package is booked but you can also have CAA book those.

Any other TA wil not be getting you anything that you could not get by calling Disney yourself to make the booking. Remember though that Disney will not offer you any of the deals if you do not ask for them. They are trained to only offer the info that they are asked for.
