does anyone know if the name on the reservation needs to match the name on the AAA memebership card? I have a reservation for myself and 3 DD's for this August with AAA room only discount. My AAA membership has expired, but my DD17 has AAA in her name. Can I use her membership card to get the AAA discount or do I need to sign myself up again? TIA!

I believe the room reservation has to match the AAA card. If the room is in your name, then your AAA card. If the room is in DD name then her AAA card. My mom and I had to each give our AAA card numbers for the reservation we made---each one in our own name.

I've been told at least one person in each room would have to have a membership card. It doesn't matter who.
A Disney reservation has everyone's name on it so as long as your daughter is on the reservation than you are fine.

I just book my Disney trip through AAA today. My agent told me that if I wanted to use my mom's AAA card (she is going), I could but then the credit card has to be in her name too. So, I joined AAA today so that my husband and I can pay for the trip. My AAA saved us a couple hundred dollars. I am so excited!!

thanks guys ~
still not sure about what to expect when I check in though;)
I had planned on renewing the AAA membership, but I'm waiting for a special where I can sign up another household member for free or something. My DD is on the reservation, and I am paying for the accomodations with a Disney gift card instead of a cc, so hopefully that will work out for us.
