I know this is a little late but am just catching up after the holidays. We took our first cruise ever on the Wonder and well it was wonderful, except for the check in at the terminal.

That was a little confusing especially since many of our fellow cruisers did not have their paperwork filled out, which made the lines and wait even longer. We finally were able to manuever around them and when we boardered we were just dazzled.

We had a Cat 8 verandah stateroom, which was lovely. There were four of us in the room, DH, DS (23) DS (18). We had a ball. The weather could have been a bit warmer (Nassau was great 80F) but we are from the Chicago area and will take high 60's in Dec anytime.

We were quite concerned about the rocking of the ship. We had gotten sea sick prescription patches from our MD before we left. We did wear them but DS 23 did not (he said he had no seasick issues). We did feel the movement of the ship but it was actually kind of fun.

We took the City tour of Nassau, it was informative yet strange since our tour guide insisted that we also view the slums of Nassau - that was a little odd.
CC was good but it did start to rain around 2:00PM. We were able to get in bike riding, snorkling and lunch

Our day at sea, was also good but with so much to do we couldn't fit it all in.

The food was good, we did not go to Palo except when we participated in the wine tasting.

Getting off the ship was an experience as they really want you off early. Our breakfast that morning was at 6:30AM. I left the dining room around 6:40AM to check on something and there was a family that was being turned away from breakfast because they were too late!

We were in a shuttle by 7:30AM off to the SSR. We loved the cruise we will go again!
