I just wanted to post my story using the code. I haven't received any type of email or postcard, and was able to book a package w/ dining using the 40 % off code. I booked this a few weeks ago, and was also able to use the code on my dad's reservation as well. Well, my Aunt decided to join us, and called me for info, since she knows I am the Disney expert! Anyway, I gave her the number to call, but didn't tell her about the code, because I really didn't think she'd be able to use it. Well, turns out, the CM offered it to her. She gave my dad's name, asking to be put in a room nearby to his, and they saw on his ressie that he had the code, and told her they could apply it to her ressie as well. They said you can book up to 3 rooms using the code. She has never been to Disney, so I know her info wasn't in their system for her to have had a pin on her account. I had to post just because from all I've been reading, CM's have stopped giving the code to people w/out pin #'s, but I guess this isn't the case. I was so happy to hear that my Aunt was able to get a good deal for her first ever Disney trip; my 11 year old cousin is SO excited! Happy planning, everyone!

Boy, I must of had a very technical CM when I called. They said that the people who were mailed the code had to be staying in the room. My parents got the code, but I made the reservations b/c it got so technical for my mom. My parents were going to be getting there 2 days b4 us, but they would not let me make a reservation for another room for us w/ their code. They said only members of household w/ code can get discount. So, I had to put my DH in their room and my mom in our room. They needed different tickets from us and I couldn't do that b/c they are not in the same room. And now I have to either convince my DH(which is what I wish I could do, but nearly impossible) to go 2 days earlier or my parents have to go 2 days less. How were you all able to add rooms for extended family if you got code? I had never experienced this b4 and don't know if it was just the luck of the draw in CM or if they tightened things up. Does this make sense? Anyone else have these experiences? It really is a pain to have the families divided up like this and to have to add days for my parents when we get there.

I am not sure if the problem was that ya'll were going 2 days later but I booked 2 rooms for December with one being in my MILs name and they gave me the discount for both. I would call back and speak to someone and see if they can do it for you. I had no trouble in doing this. Hope you can get it worked out.
