Abercrombie Kids sizing??

Hello..

I need some help with the Abercrombie Kids sizing. Trying to place a quick order before the sale is over. What size should I get for my 14 yr old son?? He wears a size 12/14 in most brands. Thanks for any help!!

I can tell you that the girls sizes run long and slim, but I don't know if that extends to boys or not. My DD wears a 7/8 in most stuff, but cannot get a pair of 8 jeans on from abercrombie. Even if she did they would be 6 inches too long.

My son also wears a 14 in most shirts, some 16. I have had to start buying him clothing from the men's Abercrombie store because they make their shirts extremely small. Everything is made very slim and fitted. I get him a men's small and it fits him. He does have some XL shirts from Abercrombie kids, but they are getting a little too snug for him.

I know you probably ordered already but I do 100% agree that the clothing runs small. My DD10 wears a 7/8 regularly and can fit into 10's from abercrombie. She can still fit into the 8 jeans but they are snug. All other brand jeans she wears 7/8's and they need to have adjustable waists or they are too big.

It really depends on your son's size. I have a just turned 14 year old son who is 5'9 and 120 pounds. He hasn't been able to fit in Abercrombie kids in about 2 years. I usually get him small or medium from Abercrombie or Hollister. He likes things fitted, so usually he sticks to the adult smalls. It's hard to find pants that fit him in a 28 X 32 length. I found one fit at Hollister that had 28 X 32 and that was slim straight. The rest are 30 waist plus for 32 length. The 28's are big on his waist as it is now. Hollister just had 30% off this past week. If you have texting access, you can get on their list and get free shipping codes. My 10 year old son is rather small for his age at 64 pounds and 54 inches and can actually wear my ds14's old Abercrombie kids XL hoodies. For pants he can wear a size 10 in Abercrombie kids.

My DS is 13 and wears that size. He still fits into Abercrombie Kids XL. He also wears Hollister Men's small. They are about the same size. However, my son is fairly short & small (just about 5' and not husky at all). The shirts are pretty long on him, but that's how he likes them...Hope this is helpful.
