ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

And speaking of this subject, The Adventurer came across a very interesting exhibit led by a couple of biologists. On display were little dishes of poop.

Ok, not really.

They were little dishes of animal food, but it wasn’t long before she and the biologists were having a lot of fun joking around about how “What goes in, comes right back out.”

Well, but some dishes of the animal food smelled more like poop when we were there....

I have no doubth whatsoever about that, Katharina!! The food looked vile and not much different than the other.

We're going from Yak to poo! Awesome. I knew I liked this Trip Report.

I had a hard time getting excited over RPW when we were there, and my kids were somewhat ho-hum about it too. I think we would have had more enthusiasm if we'd found the "Scoop on Poop" signs. :rotfl2:

i really enjoyed the update nothing like a train ride to see some dung to make a TR chapter...i was hoping you would have at least found the very easy and large HM on the ostritch eyeball on the wall...that i think was one of the first ones i have ever seen in disney.

and the bathroom. last time we were there was really cool it had animals sounds in it.

:thumbsup2

and they were not coming from the stall.

Glad you finally caught on. Hope you got lots of stickers. ;) :)
well he flung that one right out of the park, oh wait thats monkey who fling

nevermind.

Great update, Liesa! I've yet to venture out to Rafiki's...and to be honest? I'm not really in that much of a hurry to visit! Just doesn't seem like much is there.

Though it does give us an excuse for poop-filled TR posts, of course. :lmao:

I gotta keep the Peeps happy with SOMETHING. :lmao: Odd what keeps them coming back for more. ;) Poop just never gets old.

To be very honest, I ONLY went knowing I had all kinds of time to kill on this trip. Having now done it, I dont' think I'll go back until I get grandkids, and take them over for the petting zoo. Oh, and we do have some MEGA cool stuff coming up that might make you think twice before writing it off your list entirely. But that's a while from now.

I never called this TR pretty! :lmao::lmao:

Trains and poo, I can't think of a better combo!! Well, except ribs and chicken at Hoop!

I know, I know... there were some super easy HMs, but I was on a mission. :rolleyes1

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Oh man, I needed that as I head out the door for my weekend ladies' retreat. Good stuff that! :rotfl2:

We surely do have some poo-flinging monkey stories. Some of which aren't even about Glenn.

Do it if you have scads of time to kill. There is some super cool stuff out there, but not as cool as other things around AK. Do shoot for a morning if you decide to.

Always on the look out for good stuff to throw in here. :lmao: (absolutely NO pun intended.)

So…after all of the excitement of trying out at American Idol…it was getting fairly late. And I figured the rest of the gang would be at DHS by now…but when I called they had not boarded the bus yet.:eek::eek: We have lunch reservations at 50's Prime Time and those were coming up pretty fast! :scared:

But Sarah and I had some FP's to burn!

So we headed to the ToT and RnR! We were living it up!

I think Sarah was feeling much better about her American Idol experience! :thumbsup2

Then we had another hour to kill before we were heading to lunch and I had a feeling the rest of our group would be a bit late anyway…so we decided to sneak into Beauty and the Beast. This was one show that Sarah had on her must do list and I wanted to try to make sure we got as many of those things done for her as possible.

We sat way in the back of Beauty and the Beast…here are some pics of the show! Enjoy!!

so...I am a little late with my F......

:)

But I am here...somewhere! :rotfl: :surfweb:

Great update Maroo!:goodvibes

I'm sure ToT and RnR were the perfect solution to Sarah's disappointment over American Idol.:thumbsup2 She seems like such a nice girl and I'm sure she had fun. How could you not when riding those thrill rides?

Oh, I love Beauty and the Beast at HS. It's such a great, colorful show! I don't ever tire of seeing it. That was very sweet of you to squeeze it in for Sarah knowing that it was something she really wanted to see.:goodvibes

I hope you made it to your 50's PT lunch!

Nice update, Maroo. Glad that you and Sarah were able to get to some of things on her list that she wanted to do.

Mary- glad to see you and sarah put those fastpasses to good use and you were helping her check off her to do list. It's turning out to be quite a nice day for the two of you.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Nice update maroo!!I don't know if we will make it to Beauty & the Beast in August but it is on my list for October !!!

Gotta love the POOP at Rafiki's! So far Henry hasn't really gotten the humor of all that...but I have a feeling next trip will be a different story.

Maroo-I hope the rest of the family makes it!!! Nice that you and Sarah were able to cruise some of those headliners!

Just getting caught back up... Looks like you are both having a fabulous time! Can't wait to read the next installment of your fabulous adventures!

I'm once AGAIN behind but caught up. I know I've missed some guess but I hope I'm not too late for F. I guess Fairfax Fries and Fantasmic.

I've really enjoyed the update. We enjoyed Yak & Yeti but I don't think we'll rush back just because there are so many other places we want to try. For us the desert was the best part of the meal. Danielle had the sorbet and loved it. Michelle and I had the mango pie and it was fabulous. I take that back I would go back just to eat desert. We still make the trek to Conservation Station but only about every other trip.

I'm sorry Sarah didn't make it on American Idol but she is very brave to try. I'm glad the thrill rides helped ease the pain. Beauty and the Beast is a favorite in our household. It amazes me that they can put so much in such a short show.

Just getting caught up !!Hoprfully next week will be much less hectic !!I plan on mainly short days and one day completely off !!

You're not late; I think you actually may have several hours left, in fact. ;)

I can almost guarantee that in in year or two it will all become magically funny to Henry; and he won't need anyone to even provoke it. It just happens.

I think we were both having the time of our lives. One more day of solo time, then we come together as a group, and there's guarantees that we have some FABULOUS adventures in store for you. Mary and I were talking the other day about how we're both looking forward to telling you about all the funny and fun stuff we did together.

I'm once AGAIN behind but caught up. I know I've missed some guess but I hope I'm not too late for F.

Ok, I've got your guess, but I have terrible news on the game front!!!! More on that in a bit!!

That's totally me too! There's a least a dozen places on my MUST DO list that I'd easily put over Y&Y before I went back. IT was good, but I must get to Raglan, Flying Fish, Narcoosees, HECK I even want to try Vick and Al's someday.... the list goes on.

But that's a great idea! Pop in for a bit of sorbet just to get out of the heat, have a nice place to rest, and have that window view! :cloud9:

Just getting caught up !!Hoprfully next week will be much less hectic !!I plan on mainly short days and one day completely off !!

I keep saying that too, Rosie, but it never seems to happen! Always busy with something to do.

Maroo: nice job with the Beauty & the Beast pictures! Looking forward to the 50's PT... popcorn::

Well, I have a small game tragedy that I need to make you aware of. (I know how titilaing this game is, so thought you'd want to know....)

Before my little netbook crashed, I had transferred the game score spreadsheet to the other laptop. Yesterday, I went to use that laptop, only to discover that the power cord isn't working, so consequently won't charge the battery or power it.

All of your current scores are there, unaccessible, somewhat like most of our CongressFolks these days, except sometimes they aren't even "there". It's sad, I know, but don't fret. They assure me at Acer that it is "under repair". Which can mean a lot of things; vague at best, like those election year promises we always hear.

Now, here's my dilemma... I had a big, fat hairy surprise for you after this round. But am reluctant to reveal it now. After looking at your answers for Letter F, I think there were 12 or so "leaders".

What do you think?? Should I wait for me to get a replacement cord for our Laptop, or should I rely on you- my faithful Peeps and friends to just tell me your scores as they stood after Letter E?? I would do that myself, but I've erased all those PMs from Letter E, and furthermore, have no recollection of scores up to that point- I do know that about half of you who played joined in AFTER Letter A, and a small fraction of you missed a letter in between then and now.

Hmmm...... your stewing POST HOST,

The 1,000th Happy Haunt here on the thread
