ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

yeah...

well...

yeah. Nevermind.

:tiptoe:

Hmmm.... this was an intriguing post...

so...I am back!!1

Finally with one night at my house and nothing else to do.

I have not read the chatter...so I am not sure if this was already said...

But we are fine here in Jackson, MS - small tornadoes just south of here, but no major damage.

My parents had some issues in AR, but they are all ok, too!

Many prayers for all of the people out there dealing with the storms...horrible, horrible!! Reminds me too much of Katrina!

I was going to call you today to see how things were; glad to hear there was no major damage in your area. But things elsewhere (ie. Alabama) look HORENDOUS!! I feel really bad for those folks!!

Liesa - Your updates are SOOOOO awesome!!

Loved the butterfly pic!! I love me some butterflies!!

Even that rat looking thing is pretty cute.

I knew that you liked butterflies- in fact, that reminds me we never did hunt down that garden at POR... we need a re-do!

I think that's a baby armadillo?? Anyone else have a guess??

I was going :scared1: and :rotfl2: and :scratchin with that last post and some more :rotfl:

Having two boys, one in the end of potty training, poop is a daily topic in our home. :rolleyes1

looking forward to the next update

Glad you are ok Mary, I was thinking about you when I watched the news and hid in my hall closet, we had a tornado 5 miles from our home.

I thoguht the whole animal doo-doo thing was hilarious! At our zoo here in Portland they sell Zoo Doo which is quite the garden rage around here.

I cannot tell you how glad I am to be all done with potty training!! What a nightmare that whole scene was!

WOW!! Glad you are all ok! That was quite a wild night ya'll had over there!

At Work poop is almost a daily topic for me too.

Liesa- RPW is a nice way to cool off a bit and relax. I think the info on the stalls is the same since i have only seen the one sign but i will check the next time I am over that way.

RPW is interesting is you go in the morning to see if there are any interesting procedures going on.

Me too, but I"m "just" a mom. (Having a 13 yr. old boy contributes to that, I'm sure..)

I don't know about cooling off- that train was a regular sauna! But the building had some nice A/C and some fun things to see... obviously.

Then, boy oh BOY, do we have a treat for you! :rolleyes1

HEY, there is no such thing as "just" a mom. We are WAY more than that. We are cooks, maids, nurses, psychologists, personal shoppers, person assistants, chauffeurs, in my case wrestling dummy, tudors, coaches, hair stylists, seamstress, ...am I leaving anything out. AND it's the best job I've ever had.

oh and I forgot...poop plays a big part in my daily existence too :rolleyes1

Oh, I totally put that in there facetiously!! Being a mom is by far the most valuable thing I've ever done in my life- having eternal rewards, as well as too many to count here on this earth.

I can't think of any you missed off the top of my head- you did a great job at catching them all I think. ;)

Glad you finally caught on. Hope you got lots of stickers. ;) :)

:worship: Well done

OH, aren't you all the Funneee Bunch tonight! :rotfl: I can hardly stand it.

I think we have one, if not 2 more chapters for our DISMeet- the day Camille and I had while Tammie was at her Arbonne party, and our grande finale dinner. I need to talk to Cynthia about pix- she was the only one there who took the majority of the pictures.

Thanks, Magdalene! I'm having a lot of fun with the chapters; good thing a few of you still enjoy reading them! :thumbsup2

Magdalene, your most welcome!! I'm assuming you got our postcard. :goodvibes Liesa and I had fun picking it out for you. :lovestruc I knew you would love the colors.

Letter E is only making a limited appearance! If you haven't gotten your guess in for our Special Guest Star- Letter E- then by all means, please PM your guess to me by today :)

Your sponsor thanks you!

I'm such a bad friend, I totally meant to get on here and post you were well, I made it on here and then was distracted right off the bat, like most good Dis'ers are. :guilty: Sorry. :flower3:

That's right Chloe! What she said! :thumbsup2

Except poop isn't a big part of my life any more, my kids are 11 and 18. :rotfl: Praise God.

OH, you're so very welcome!! It's fun to make a new acquaintance - and so many have gone WAY beyond to deep friendships. I will make every attempt to catch up on yours as well, but it may take a spell. I'm leaving for a women's retreat for the weekend, and won't be back on until MOnday. Then that's my busy day of grocery shopping, errands, etc..... So we'll see...

Have a great day tomorrow and we'll talk again soon. :goodvibes

well since mine is only 30 pages and yours is 100+ with both threads, think you'll get through mine much quicker :lmao:
enjoy your retreat....too funny, Mondays are my errand day too!
take care!!

What a perfect table at Y&Y. Just perfect. I have yet to eat there and hope I eventually get around to it.

Sorry dessert was crappy! That's a bummer. But I am glad you had an overall good experience. I forget that Y&Y was a Landry restaurant. Glad the service was good. Love your picture.

I think most of the threads are a lot of yaking, that although is hilarious to read, is not essential in getting caught up. The TOC should help you do that super fast if you want to- otherwise, I always welcome anyone to just jump in right where we are!!! Either way, heartfelt welcome to you!!

I am still trying to figure out how errands can take an entire day, but they do. Then again, I don't leave the house much on the other days- it's different living rural; too far to go in for just milk.

HI Mary Ellen- thought I'd lost you!! THanks for sticking around- since I'm still only on day 3, I imagine I'll be here a while. :rolleyes1 Y and Y is good, not great, not fun, not a must for me, but a good choice for AK on a hot day. Generally, it worked for me.
