Great update Liessa !!!Those Micket Beignets looked great!!!
Didn't they??!!
Awwwww... it's just so sweet reading about your Mom and Aunt's trips down memory lane at Disneyland. It's sounded like they've had some really great times there together. This love they have for Disney is very special I can tell and so sweet, love it!
It is something rare to know people who've been going since just a few months after it opened. One of them may have even been at opening day (I'll have to go back and ask them). They truly love that place, and it really shows when they visit!
Ooooo... Dinosaurs on the railroad! That's wicked cool. I totally want to come to DLR now since I'm pretty sure WDW doesn't have something like that on the Disney World Railroad.
it is cool! It also goes past a pretty detailed Indian camp too, but I didn't take any pictures of that. You'd love the train ride at DLR!
Ooooo... beignets! They look SOOO GOOD! I really need to try them one of these days
They were sooooo yummy!!! They fry them right there in front of you, so they were fresh and hot! Mmmmm.... guuuuuuuud!
Yeah, Aurora's castle is definitely smaller, but it looks more vibrant and you also can walk through it at any time. And there is A TOUR! Yeah, I've done my research hahaha Cindy's Castle though is still just so grand and awe-inspiring to me, though I haven't seen Sleeping Beauty Castle in person yet :/
Can't wait to read more!![]()
Definitely some differences in style there. And you're right, there is a walking (self-guided) tour through it. It's really cool, although we didn't do it this time. I loved it as a kid, as did my own kids.
Wonderful update. It AMAZES me how much I actually recognize from DL since I haven't been since I was about 5. I guess we really did spend a lot of time there.
How heart warming your mom and Cherrie giggling like school girls. That in its self must have made your trip.
That IS amazing that you remember so much!! I don't remember squat from being 5 other than the names of a few kids in my Kindergarten class.
You're right! The trip for me was all made worth it by seeing THEM enjoying themselves. I did go on a few attractions by myself, 3 or so, I think, but we stuck to what they wanted to do (and could do) and it truly brought me a deep-seated joy!
Just wanted to share !!I got a very nice letter from Jordan today !!He is living and working in Kentucky and doing well !!
THANKS! for sharing Rosie! I see him on FB once in a while, and he sounds like he's doing really well and enjoying life. I'm glad he's found a place to call home and is on the right track!!!
