Wow! You got me crying now too! I'm so excited for you!!

This is her chance to be the kid that she has always wanted to be. She said to me "Mom I am so excited to go to GKTW because when I have my brace on and am in my wheelchair, no one will look at me like I am different there." That really got to me.

This is exactly why we are thrilled to be going to GKTW!!!! No pitty stares when you walk past people because your kids is in a wheelchair! God bless you guys!

No one will care if they are in a chair or if they have Battle scars. That is the best part
Our kids can just be kids. I was looking at pictures yesterday and started to cry because I remembered thinking this is the first time Hayden ever ran (in Matthew playground) and I caught it on film.

This is so true...

But even better...all of those "sick" families are HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY...that is the best part!! Not only do they not stare - but instead of everyone around you being in a hospital or doctor's office (and therefore not so happy) - everyone at GKTW is HAPPY!!! Some the happiest they have ever been - ever! And you get to go there too!

Enjoy it! Embrace it. Drink it all in - take a TON of pictures (not just for us - but for you), take lots of video (you can get a camera from GKTW if you don't have one or something happens to yours) and write down as much as you can so you will be able to remember all more vividly.

Tell her in our eyes she is perfect!!!! and that her wonderful smile lights up the room!!

Thanks for sharing the party photos... Abby's response was wonderful...I think it'll be great going to GKTW...Kaleb will see that other kids have scars just like him...but it will also give my kids a chance to meet other kids who have faced difficult times/illnesses and give them a perspective on other kids experiences...since everyone's experiences are unique!

I can't believe we are so close 3 more days!!!! I have most of the clothing packed, just have to pack the carry ons and the last minute stuff. We are all getting so excited!!!!

Not Tim (Obviously ) but the GKTW website states it is approximately $2.00 for the unmanned booths... Of course, I have not been there; however, I am sure you are packing and planning and need some idea to help...

We now have about 37 hours Still have lots to do, but I will get it all done! My stomach is going crazy with nerves and excitement! Does anyone know if we should call the Limo place and confirm or does MAW? Just trying to cover any loose ends.

MAW should do it. All that you will need to do is have everything ready to be loaded.
