VMK did it to me again!!

I waited for 30 minutes in line!! Behind 33 people. And i'm in a host game brave the mountain.

She says go and I click to go and I GET DISCONNECTED!!!!!

This isn't the first time I've gotten disconnected during the actual competition part of a host game!!

It happens to the best of us, just got to have patience with host games!

that is why you should log out and back in and it resets your DC timer. and it should work better but there are still chances of DCing even if you do this because it can be caused by many things.

Honestly that doesnt work for me.
Typical:
I login fresh, go directly into a host line(after many castle clicks), wait 5/15/45 minutes, get in line in the room, jog back and forth like everyone else, then DC.

Happens all the time. I am pretty confident that it has to do with the reliability of one's Internet Service Provider and/or one's "HOPS"(distance) from VMK's servers.

I am not dismissing the timer thing, its just not the problem for me and I think many others. As of this week, I completly stopped playing the host games, because I get disconnected more times than not. We are talking 4 out of 5 times.

I snooped at the problem a little bit, being a network tech, and found some crazy things I just couldnt explain.

Anyway I think some of us are just doomed to suffer the DC syndrome. Until VMK/Shockwave implements a more reliable/redundant networking protocol.

I waited 30 minutes in line to play Brave the Mountain, got into the room at 7:12, THE HOST WAS NOT THERE! Waited for host to come back, watched people crash, then I crash at 7:29, no time to log back in and try to get back in line!

Arrghh!!!!!!!!!
