goin2disney...I'm hoping he gives it up all together!

He must be terrible if he managed this one.
Chicago...Yes, glad I wasn't bonked on the head. I was in that room less than 10 minutes before. And thanks for the tip about the golf course covering!! I'll remember that for any "problems" in the future. Considering this guy was so willing to pay without question, it isn't a problem. Although I have contacted the secretary for the Board of the development letting her know and asking if there's any info on what kind of windows these are, etc. I've only been living here 3 months.
Decker...Thanks for that, too! Will have to be chummy with the neighbors. And it did cross my mind...what if I were picking up my son at day care and it happened? I doubt I would find a note pinned to my door.
mickey's #1 fan...Frightening!! A couple weeks ago I had the pups out for a walk along the path. A golfer told me I should walk along the edge...where I picked up a tick...but that's another nightmare. He made sure to tell me that golf balls can kill!

Gee...not even safe in my own home apparently!!

Thank goodness I wasn't making the bed at the time. There were pieces of glass from one side of the room to the other, on the bed, under the edge of the bed, and on the window sill.
Doug...

How he managed to hit the ball and get the side of the house...on the second floor...is beyond me. Obviously a terrible player! He was wayyyyyyyyyy off! Any way, I'm on the golf course by default. I relocated from another state and lived in a hotel for three weeks. Real estate's flying here, and this was the only available thing in my price range. Dang...I really miss being on the lake! Hey, no alligators though!
jws...Hmmmmmmmmmm. I should talk to the homeowner's assoc. about that! Flew over the house and landed in DH's truck? Well, this guy must have sent it flying over the trees and home. The window he hit does NOT face the golf course at all.
