OMG!!!! I wish I had found Sticky Mickey's the first day we were there! They are sooooooo goood!!! Does anyone know if you can get them anywhere other than Concourse Steakhouse? I don't remember reading anything about them on these boards, but I don't know that I was really looking.;)
It's probably better that I didn't find them until we were leaving or I would have gained way too much weight on this trip.
If you're looking for a very yummy inexpensive breakfast, Sticky Mickey's at the Concourse Steakhouse is the way to go! IMHO:teeth:

What are Stickey Mickey's? They sound like they are not to be missed :)

The Concourse Steakhouse is in the Contemporary next to Chef Mickey's. You can sit and watch the monorails go right by! And dd10 found a hidden mickey on the big mural. We only ate there for breakfast. We had a PS for dinner our first night, but we were able to walk in to Chef Mickey's so we cancelled at the Steakhouse.

Okay, elaborate...what is a Sticky Mickey? We are all dying to know.

Sticky Mickeys?!?!? LOL I can't wait to find out what these are - so many images in my head right now ;)

I too what love to know what they are. We did not see them in Feb when we had a great lunch there. They sound gooey and yummy and that is fine by me!

OK, you've started a whole new cult here and we don't even know what they are, LOL! I want one!

One year when we ate there the Sticky Mickey's were free with our breakfast!

If I recall, it's cinnamon buns all smushed together served in a thick black pan (that it was baked in) and they serve it with a fork and you break it apart. It's like those cinnamon bun cakes that are called "pull aparts".

Yummmmm!

Mickey Stickey's are available exclusively at the Concourse Steakhouse during breakfast. They used to be included for free with all brakfast entries, but they are now an additional item on the menu. They are basically cinnamon buns served in a large white crock. They do have a clear glaze on them, not white icing and they are delicious!! They aren't shaped like mickey ears, just called Mickey Stickies!!

Do I have to have a PS for breakfast or can I walk right in with a minimum wait? This sounds devine!

LOL I want one !!!!!!!!!! Yum scrum in my tum :)

All my meals are planned now for May but come December this sounds like a plan ;)

Sounds yummy. Will have to try them.

Honeychild,
I don't think you'll need a PS for breakfast. We just walked in and there were 11 of us. It was about 8AM on a Sunday morning.
The Sticky Mickey's are on the menu in the breads and cereals section. Mine was served in a metal (I think pewter) pan. Picture a wide vase shaped like a tulip...fanned out a bit at the top. Then put 3 gobs of dough in the bottom of this 4" tall pan. The dough rises up and over the top of the pan in the shape of 3 circles. (hence the Mickey shape) There was a knife stuck down in them to serve them up. There was no cinnamon in them as far as I could tell. The bread had more like a sweet flavor, yet it was a yeast roll. The glaze on top was very light. (not a thick white icing) The best part about them was the syrup that you can drizzle (or pour!) on them! It was definitely made with butter and some kind of sugar...I think brown sugar. I never thought I'd need to have a picture of this item, but now I wish I had taken one!
You can get "mini sticky mickey's" with the Chef's Madness breakfast, but those are just 3 rolls put on a plate. (someone else in our party ordered that....but they were a little different, and not as good!) To be on the safe side, order the regular size Sticky Mickey! I honestly doubt that you'll be disappointed! I will definitely make this a must-do on any of our other trips! (although we won't be going back soon :( )

I didn't mean to start a cult following for Sticky Mickey's but I did want to share my gem that I had found!
Eat one for me! (or two, three, four! )

Enjoy!

Lisa :D

Wow -- we've been calling the chocolate dipped ice cream suckers shaped like Mickey's head "Sticky Mickey's" for the past 10 yrs. b/c they can be quite sticky!!!!

Never knew they had breakfast buns called Sticky Mickey's!!! lol!

Are they anything like "Monkey Bread" they are pull apart rolls, that are served warm, and are made with butter, brown sugar.

Yes, it's very similar to "Monkey Bread"!
