Hi everyone,
I am planning to visit Disneyland. Very excited! And now I've relocated to Southern California, so qualify for the special pricing options. That said, I'm looking at options between the annual passes and the multi-day offer for SoCal residents available through May. I wanted to look at AAA pricing on annual passes, but I believe you have to call. The office is closed today. But does anyone know what the Southern California AAA prices are for annual passes? Is there a free parking perk?
Thank you!
J

There's no parking offer on any AAA tickets anymore. They never offered any parking with APs other than the including parking in premium. AAA stopped selling APs before the premium level was eliminated. The only way to get the parking benefit on a new AP now is to get signature or above. One option for lower pricing is to get the So Cal ticket offer, is it on weekends, the upgrade to a So Cal select AP. You get the resident pricing on the AP and you spread the cost out, but the initial money down is a little less than another multi day ticket. It's a little more up front than making a 1 day, 1 park deposit and then doing the payment plan, but you get a few weekend days at the start before going with the lowest level AP.

Thanks for the info and tips! I'm okay with paying the full amount. I've budgeted for that. Is there an additional discount on the So Cal AP or any of the regular AP's if I buy through a Southern California AAA branch?

Also, is the So Cal Select AP still available? The site says no. Maybe only for upgrades?

As SMD stated, AAA stopped selling APs before the last price increase. Each branch is different though, so you should call your local AAA office just to see what they offer.

The SoCal Select AP should still be available. Are you looking at the SoCal AP (only available for renewals)?

We just bought a SoCal Select AP last month. The site said they aren't for sale anymore but it allows you to buy them. I don't know why they haven't updated the site to reflect the re-opening of the pass for purchase. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/

Edit: to add "Select" in describing the AP purchased.

I can't find the SoCal APs using that link. The SoCal Select AP is listed on that page, but not the SoCal pass. I have read that the SoCal is available if you renew/downgrade your pass to the SoCal level. And there have been rumors that Disney is thinking about phasing out the SoCal pass entirely after this year, like they are doing with the Premium pass.

Just an update for everyone: I got through to SoCal AAA and they're only allowed to sell 1-day parkhopper tickets for $155. It's the only pass they carry in branches.

SO sorry. My bad. I thought we were discussing the SoCal Select. There was confusion on their webpage as this is a pass that was available and then they took it away and is now available again. The SoCal Select is what we purchased through Disney in Dec and was the only "SoCal" AP I saw on offer for new purchases.
