Is this deal possible?

I understand that room rate discounts can not be stacked. But what if I Reserved the Rooms with the AAA rate from AAA.

Then could I call W-Disney and get a 7 Day Magic Your Way Plus Dining ticket?

I think that you need to get a resort reservation to get the deal, but I am not sure. :-(

Thanks alot,
Matthew

This won't work.

First of all the MYW with the free dining is not a ticket, it is a package that must include a rack rate room and tickets. You must book the entire package with Disney or AAA, or any other travel agent. When you use AAA you will not get the room discount.

From what I understand from a different thread I started, you can get the AAA room rate and PAY for dining, but you cannot get the AAA room rate and Free dining. To get the AAA room rate and paid dining you have to book directly with AAA.

Bingo - That is what I wanted to know. :-)

Question - How come a $100 a day (for a family of 4) for dining is a good deal? Am I missing something? I can eat at a restaurant like TGIF for $40 for all of us... There MUST be something that I am missing here...

Thanks,
Matthew

Sit down and eat at a restaurant in WDW (family of 4) and it'll most likely be more than $100.

My family of four used the dining plan last July and our counter service and table service meals alone were about $200 more than we spent on the plan. That does not even include the snacks.

My best friend and I just went for three nights over Easter. We spent $240 on the dining plan for the 2 of us and our CS, TS, and snack total came to $371.

It really is a good value if you want a vacation with fabulous meals and splurging.

We never ate breakfast because we knew our lunches would be so huge, so the only the thing we paid out of pocket for was alcoholic beverages at dinner.

Hi fellow Dec traveller. Yes, the dining plan is the way to go. It's not cheap to eat at WDW. In fact, if you choose some of the nicer restaurants for dinner (like Le Cellier), you'll probably break $100 just for that family of 4 for dinner alone. And there's no TGIF at Disneyworld, so take advantage of the deal. Think of it as a free lunch and snack everyday. Like another poster suggested, just skip breakfast and eat an early counterservice lunch.

A coke is $2.50 and has been for years. You walk into a different world Disney wise and food wise. It will shock you. This is the first time that I will get to enjoy this dining plan. I am really looking foward to it!

you can check out menus at www.allearsnet.com and that might give you a better idea of what they have and what it may cost. Remember, everything is more at WDW.
