AAA reservation problem??

Hello All -
Here's my story, I had a perfectly good reservation but I had not applied my AAA discount to it so I called about two weeks ago to do that and discovered that I had to let someone from AAA do that for me. Sooo, I called my friendly AAA agent and she told me I'd have to sign a letter to do that which I thought OK, I can do that. Well, today I recieved an e-mail from her and she informed me that I need to pay another deposit AND my total owed is more than it was before. I thought that I was would save money by going through AAA. Anyway, I have e-mailed her back to inform her that I had already paid a $200 deposit to WDTC and that I now owe even more money on my package than I did before. Something's just plain goofy about all that if you ask me.
Does anyone else have any experience with this? I am really hoping that my AAA agent will figure something out, I'm really bummed right now.

AAA doesn't off a discount on packages. They only offer a discount on room only reservations. The package total from AAA is probably more because they quoted you the package price from Disney including the insurance. I was surprised once when I got a rate for a disney cruise from them that was more than directly from disney. But I realized it was the insurance that they included in the price. I would stick with booking through disney because if a discount code ever comes out you can apply that to the reservation through disney. I'm not sure that you can do that through AAA, but you might be able to. The only way to get the AAA discount is to make a room only reservation and then order your tickets on your own (through AAA for a discount, or from disney).

I got a little good news today. We were able to get a $104 discount through AAA and they figured out that I had paid my deposit so that will help a little. She also told me that if I hear of any discount codes to let her know and she will try to apply them to my reservation. I feel much better now.
