AAA & Fast Pass

A friend of mine is going to DL between xmas and new years. Her mom booked onsite package at AAA. It includes some type of special fast pass that has more benefits than the type you get at the park regularly. I can't find any info on this type of package or fast pass. Are any of you familiar with it and is it still availabe?

It's called an enhanced fastpass. Basically (anyone correct me if I'm wrong) you can have several fastpasses at once. You can have a fastpass for every attraction that has a fastpass but only one for each attraction. Normally your fastpass says a new one will be available after a certain time but the AAA ones do not have this restriction.

Don't you have to be staying at one of the Disneyland hotels to get this feature though? Or am I thinking of something else?

Yes, it's with the onsite hotels. We've had the enhanced fastpass once before and felt we got so much more value for our money spent that it was totally worth it. (And we love the grand Californian anyway! )We were there the week right after the official 50th - end of July and the park was unbearably packed - just awful, but we still managed to get in so many rides, multiple times despite it all.

Got another trip coming up that I think we'll have enhanced fastpass for and we can't wait! (I say I think because supposedly enhanced fastpass is going away.)

To any Disney powers that be - I don't know that we will continue to pay extra to stay onsite if the enhanced fastpass really does go away. Please continue to offer this perk whether it be through AAA or your own travel company. Pretty please!

As of 2007 this feature does not exist-hopefully it will come back again
