AAA discount

I am planning a trip to stay at the all stars in the end of Aug early sept. Do they give AAA discounts?

The Disney resorts have a limited number of AAA rates, so call as soon as you can. We have a AAA rate at POR for My 26 - June 3, but I'm hoping for AP rates to be available....

Question, What if you wanted to stay @ WV during Deluxes (value season) after July 5th, would it be better to go thru AAA to get the discounts or come thru DISUnlimited or Disney Travel? DH, DS & I are planning a trip to DW in July 06 to celebrate our 20th anniversary & didn't know if it were wise just to purchase AAA card just to get the discount plus their benefits .

Here's just a brief summary:

Subject to availability, AAA offers discounts for Values, Moderates, Deluxes, Home-Away-From-Home, Fort Wilderness cabins and campsites, as well as the Swan & Dolphin.

Here are the seasons by type of resort and discounts:

Value & moderates
Value season: most nights: 1/02/05 - 2/16/05, 8/28/05 - 10/04/05, and 11/27/05 - 12/19/05
Regular season: most nights 4/17/05 - 8/27/05 and 10/05/05 - 11/26/05
Peak season: most nights 2/17/05 - 4/16/05
DISCOUNTS: 20% value season, 15% regular season, and 15% peak season

Deluxe, Home-Away-From-Home & Fort Wilderness cabins
Value season: most nights 1/2/05 - 2/16/05, 7/05/05 - 10/04/05, and 11/27/05 - 12/19/05
Regular season: most nights 4/17/05 - 7/04/05 and 10/05/05 - 11/26/05
Peak season: most nights 2/17/05 - 4/16/05
DISCOUNTS: 15% value season, 10% regular season, and 10% peak season

Fort Wilderness campsites
Value season: most nights 1/02/05 - 2/16/05 and 8/07/05 - 11/17/05
Regular season: most nights 4/17/05 - 8/06/05
Peak season: most nights 2/17/05 - 4/16/05
DISCOUNTS: 20% value season, 15% regular season, and 10% peak season - also 20% preholiday season

Swan/Dolphin, 35% off room portion of package - available most nights

Actually, the discount would be 20% off (if rooms are available) for the values during the time the OP was referring to.

I've had better luck with AAA than WDW travel but if I were you I would research too! I'm not going for a little bit but I think I'm going with AAA. I've researched with travel agents and WDW travel and nothing could beat my price with AAA.

I book directly through AAA, and have had great success with them.

We did a package through AAA last year and got a good deal. So good that we added a day (using the room only codes) on each end of our stay. But if you just want a AAA Room Discount and the new MYW Tickets or AP, book it through Disney. You'll have more flexibility in making changes, you pay only one night's deposit within two weeks of making your reservation, and you don't have to pay the balance until you arrive.
