We have been
AAA members for several years now, and if you do any traveling throughout the year (even beyond WDW), it can more than pay for itself, and that's not even using their auto assistance service. Most hotels offer AAA discounts, and sometimes they can be substantial. As far as discounts for WDW, they do offer AAA rates for the resorts, which you can get by calling WDW directly. In the past, the discounts were generally 20% off Values & Moderates, & 15% off Deluxes during Value season. I think during the higher seasons, the discounts are less, more like 10% off, and during Christmas/New Years week, and the weeks around Easter, there are usually no discounts. You can also use AAA as a
travel agent and book packages through them. This will typically include the discounted room rate and a slight discount on tickets. You can also just buy tickets through them at a slight discount. Hope this helps some!
Check out AAA.com to see about joining and what all the benefits are. Also, I forgot, we received a discount through them when we signed up for DirecTV, so the discounts extend even beyond travel.
