I was wondering if anyone knows what the current AAA discount rate is. I received a mailing to get it for around $40 nad if the discount was a good one then it might be worth buying it if I can make my money back on my trip.

Thank you for any information.

It all depends on the season you are going and what hotel you will be staying at. 10-20%

According to the 2010 AAA WDW promotional booklet the AAA rate at all Value resorts regardless of time of year is 10%. The one exception being during Holiday Season from 12-17 to 12-31 in which there are no AAA reduced rates at Value Resorts.

For anyone else who might be interested:

I use my AAA for many things and make my money back pretty quickly (outlet malls, discounted tickets, hotels on roadtrips to WDW). However, if you think it is a time of year that usually has good discounts (which I personally think it does, I am hoping for free dining that week), you may want to wait a bit and see what WDW has to offer at that time.

We did book a trip through AAA last year for President's week, and the year before. I am not sure what the discount was, but the AAA diamond parking pass was great!

I have received the pin code which will give me 30% off a moderate for our trip in August (8/17-8/24). My question is this....should I book it through AAA? If Disney ends up offering FD for our time period, I'm wondering if it will save me more money to book through AAA b/c then we will also receive the AAA discounts?? I'm really confused about this decision!!:confused3

You will either be able to use the PIN code (FD) OR the AAA discount, there is no stacking of discounts.

I booked through AAA, then they put out the offer for the gift cards this year. I called up my agent who did the math and we figured it was a better deal for us to get the extra spending money and pay full price vs keep the AAA discount. Cost me about 200 bucks to get a 500 dollar gift card. It's money we would have spent anyway.

Each offer is different and sometimes the AAA discount is better, sometimes the PIN is better.

So, if they do offer the free dining, I'll only get that discount and not the FD plus the AAA discount?

SSR & OKW are now 25% in Value/regular season? This may change my plans yet again.

I booked with AAA this week and there was no discount. Is it because we were using the room rate special offer? The rate was exactly the same with them as the Disney website's special offers section.
