AAA discount?

I already have a package booked through Disney for AKL in August. If I join AAA do I have to cancel my reservation and make a new one or will they apply discount to reservation. ( Room was hard to find, had to snatch it when someone gave it up)

Yes, you would need to cancel through Disney and rebook through AAA if you want a package. However, don't cancel with Disney until you book through AAA first just to make sure you get what you want. That is what I did. Also, AAA will waive their application fee for you if you book a package through them.

Actually I have been told by two different aaa agents that it is possible to transfer your reservation to them without canceling and rebooking. However the one I booked with requested I give her the chance to get the same booking first. She made it sound like it would be a bit of a pain to get it transferred for me as well as her. I hadn't made a deposit so I didnt care which way it worked out and since she was able to get a new reservation going I didnt have to worry about the specifics. She said something to the effect of having to call disney myself and release my reservation to her..I dont remember exactly. Anyway the best thing to do would be to call and find out what they are willing to do for you and as previous poster said never cancel until you are sure your new ressie is what you want.
