AAA Discount = special discount block of rooms?

I have a question regarding using the AAA Discount on an existing reservation. I've have requested a full balcony with waterview at the Beach Club..I'm worried if I call up at ask for a AAA discount they will put us in a "discounted room"..noisy, near elevator, bad view etc? Does anyone know whether they actually block off certain rooms for those with discounted reservations?

Also, can they just apply the AAA discount when we check in?

No, I don't believe "specific" rooms are discounted. I think they discount a percentage of their rooms. I always use codes including AAA for our rooms and I've always been happy with the location. Most times I'm usually given a choice upon check-in as to which room I'd like to be in.

I wouldn't wait until check-in to hope for an AAA discount. Once their percentage quota is reached the discount is not availble. Try to get the discount now. I already have 2 rooms booked using AAA for July.
