AAA discount plus free dining

If I book now with a AAA discount, and Disney offers free dining during my stay, will I be able to use the free dining along with the AA discount? Sorry if this has been asked before. I know you can't use 2 discount codes or pins, but I wasnt sure about this. Thanks.

You can book now with AAA discount and they will add the free dining if it comes out but you will lose the AAA discount because you can only have one discount. That's how we booked last year. Went throught AAA but added the free dining when it came out. Still a fantastic deal for us.

I thought last year people were booking the package with a AAA agent and getting the free dining and the AAA discount? That is what we are planning if free dining comes out. You can book a AAA room thru Disney but in order to get a AAA discounted package you must book with a AAA agent.

My AAA agent (AAA Carolinas) did not give the additional AAA room discount on the Free Dining package last year. Their price was the same as the WDTC price....so I went directly through Disney to make my reservation.

Mid-Atlantic AAA here. We got the "Magical Beginnings" Package from AAA. No discount beyond the free dining, but we did get all the AAA benefits: parking pass, AAA Story Time (definitely worthwhile!), meal at Hard Rock (we didn't have time or appetite to use it), some other coupons we didn't use. The AAA parking pass was nice.

I think I do remember some few reports of people previously booked with aaa discount (I dont remember if it was with aaa or through disney, packages or room only - but i'm thinking it was people booked through aaa) that when they went to change to the free dining it just added it on. While some obviously did, it also seems that when we ran numbers on some of them they hadn't actually kept it.This was supposed to not be allowed. But somehow some aaa reservations glitched their way through. (LOL) I wouldnt count on it but it wouldnt hurt to have that existing aaa reservation.

Yes I did book through a AAA travel agent. We booked two rooms and received 20% off the room rates and the free dining plan last year.

we went in August last year. When the free dining came out, our dates for the free dining included a room discount (basically, the values went to Value Season early with the free dining promotion. So while we didn't get the AAA discount, we got in on the Free DDP with early rate-change, which was about the exact same amount as the AAA discount.
