AAA discount - is that on top of the current offers?

We have a AAA discount for AoA, but may switch to POP - which currently has a discount offer. Just wondering if the AAA discount would be replaced by the Disney offer or if we would receive both? Does anyone know?

You can only get one discount, so you should go with the one that's a greater savings.

Discounts cannot be stacked so you need to figure out which one is going to be the best deal for you

You cannot stack discounts but sometimes AAA will have its own incentive to book through them. January is Disney month at my AAA and they're offering Disney gift cards. Other Disney TA's will offer extras as well, so keep your eyes open for them.

Just got back from my AAA office where it is also "Disney month". Their incentive was $25 gift cards. What does that buy? A coffee? ;)

I got a pin in the mail. :cool1: :cool1:

I can get the tickets thru AAA with a little discount but does this mean if I make room only reservation I can't choose qsp later if I figure it out that it is worth it. (still running #'s & doens't seem like much of a savings just convenience) TIA for your help. :goodvibes

You cannot add the dining plan (which is what I'm guessing you mean by qsp?) if you don't have a package reservation. A package is room + tickets.

How much is the GC that you get booking it yourself? ;)

It may not be much of an incentive but it's better than nothing. I think my AAA office is offering $25 GCs for values and moderates, $50 GCs for deluxes and villas. I'm pretty sure that there are better incentives out there if you search for a Disney specialist.

I also have AAA. Not going till early 2014, but seems (from what I've been reading) that you can get better deals doing things on your own. Others agree with this?

It depends - for us AAA was the only one offering an AoA discount at this time. It wasn't a lot, but every bit adds up.

You can't stack deals but we normally come out ahead through AAA. Last trip we got free dining so we didn't have a AAA discount. But they had other perks, such as preferred fireworks viewing, discounts for different places and they sent us a check for $100 for paying off our balance a little earlier than Disney's due date. And then there's the wonderful Diamond parking pass. We always drive ourselves to the parks and love this pass!

You can (almost) never get a AAA discount on top of Disney promotion. You do get to keep the other AAA perks such as preferred parking, discounts at some stores....

So i'm a fla resident and an annual passholder. I just got an offer for a AAA card in the mail and was researching the discount associated with it. DO you guys think that I am better off with the Fla res/AP discounts than AAA?:thumbsup2
