AAA discount and MYW package

I currently have a AAA discount on my room only at the Polynesian from June 8- 16. I was wondering since it looks like AP discounts will not be available that if I upgrade to MYW package with dining do they still give a AAA discount. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Only if you book through AAA.....I just had the same issue earlier this week. If you book through WDW, you cannot get the AAA room only rate w/ MYW +DDP.

Can I get this straight? Sorry, I am new to the whole AAA scenario. (I have always done AP.)
If I book through AAA can I get the room discount and the dining package?
Does that mean I have to pay in advance?
Do I have to get insurance?
Are there any other perks to an AAA package?

You have to book through an AAA agent to do the package with a slight room discount. From what I understand it isn't a whole lot but every little bit helps.

You will have to pay a deposit and the balance when it is due. I am not sure if they use the same deadlines as Disney or not.

You don't have to get insurance if you don't want to

I don't recall any major perks, maybe the diamond parking pass but that is about it.

Dining plan is 37.99 for adults and 10.99 for kids.
