I saw a thread where someone mentioned checking availability on AAA's website. I can only find where you can "submit a request" for a reservation, not get a quote online.

Is it possible to check online (through AAA) if AAA discounts are available? Or, is it possible just to check what the price is through AAA, in which case you could calculate backwards to see if the quote included a AAA discount?

Thanks!

When I go to my local AAA site (I don't know about the national site, if that's what you're on), I can get a quote. I go to the Travel tab, then Hotels, then there's a screen to input destination, dates, travel party details etc., then a bunch of hotels come up. If you go to "D" and scroll down, you get all the Disney hotels and the rates available. Maybe you need to pick a particular club?

On our AAA site, we're able to check & book WDW room only ressies....Packages need to be booked with an agent.

I log in....Click on "TRAVEL".....Then click on "HOTELS" then put in Lake Buena Vista, FL

It's the same with our AAA (AAA Colorado) - rooms we can check, but not packages.

Aha, thanks! I was looking under "Disney", but that must be only packages. (I don't usually use the AAA website.) Sure enough, one resort I was considering is listed only at rack rate but another is showing a discount for my dates. So presumably AAA rates are sold out at the resort showing rack rate for that week.

From what I can tell, each AAA "club" has its own site and Ressie system. We happen to be AAA East Penn here. For us, you have to call or fill out an online form for any Disney prices. They only have discounts on certain resorts and certain room categories. Ex: I don't really care about the wiew, just resort location, so I was looking for WL woodsview. AAA had no discounts avail in that category, but they had courtyard view bunk beds for $150 less for our 4 nts than rack rate for woodsview. I took that, but am hoping an avail will come up with the discount in woodsview so I can save a few more $$$.
