Wondering if some travel agent can help me out here, perferably a AAA agent, but any answer will do (I hope!).
My good friend at work won an all expense trip. Yes, a free trip to anywhere! Basically she was awarded $4500.00 worth of travel. The prize had to be redeemed through AAA. So when she decided to go to WDW(and I'm going with her!!), she contacted the assigned AAA agent in Western Massachusetts to straighen out all the details. (our company headquarters is in Western MA. so she had to use the AAA agent there, one that was assigned to her through the company!)
She's gotten the flights/airfare she wanted, the choice in hotel, her MYW tickets with the dining plan she wanted, all covered by the prize, but she still had money left over, well, she couldn't get cash nor, a gift card, nor Disney dollars for the leftover $$, nor did she want to give the company anything back! (can't blame her!! LOL)
So, I suggested that she ask the AAA travel agent to book/add on the MVMCP tickets & the Candlelight processional dinner package through her, her agent replied, NO. She said she couldn't do that, so she asked about Cirque tickets and was told no also......is that true? Can't a travel agent book those things?? Or does she have to pay for them herself?
She asked me about it and I was stunned! I really thought that the agent would try to make this trip as magical as possible and from what I've heard about this one agent, she's a doosey!
Anyone have any answers?? I'm really confused!
Thanks in advance for any and all of your help....I'm just trying to make this poor women's trip a little more magical, she hasn't been to Disney since before Epcot was built, she's almost 65 and we're going during the holiday season, so it should be very magical!
sorry this post is so long!
