A year without Disney? Who am I kidding?!(a PTR) LINK TO TR!

We definitely had a good amount of time so that we didn't feel rushed. Of course, we spent three out of those days doing water parks and having an impromptu free day, so we only really utilized 8 for the parks. I think one of the benefits to going to Disney so often (as we all do here) is that you don't have to do everything every time and spend each day going from ride to ride and just wearing yourself out. If I only went once every 3 or 4 years I would probably spend a lot more time in the parks just to get it all done, but I probably wouldn't enjoy myself as much then. We always end up touring the same way, even though it's not a written plan, mostly because by this point we know what we want to ride, and we know what works for us. :thumbsup2

Yeah, one of our days will be spent at Universal Studios (thanks to redeeming our debit card points for a free day!) and another at Typhoon Lagoon. The majority of our trip is "open". We can do whatever we want, when we want and not feel tied down by accomplishing this attraction at one park or another attraction at another park, etc. :)

On to the trivia - I am so excited for this! I so want those envelopes!!! Ok, I'm going to guess 8. There are two attractions that I'm not sure if they are necessarily considered a boat, so I'll use one of them and not the other. Great idea! :goodvibes

oooh, I love trivia! And those envelopes are a way cooler prize than a set of four pint glasses (which is what we usually win at Trivia night  )

My guess is 8.

Keep guessing girls! No one has correctly guessed yet. If I still don't have the correct answer by tomorrow, I'll give a hint!

I'm going to guess 10! :cool1: (Although, there are some I didn't count that could be classified as boats, and I'm not sure what you are counting as boats...but I'm sticking with 10! :rotfl:)

Okay, so I know it’s been nearly 3 months since I took my extended Disney World trip with my sister but I am finally going to share some pictures! The first batch I'm going to share are our Top 5 "Moments" of the trip.

5. Our last evening spent at Magic Kingdom.
Although the night kind of ended not so good thanks to angry people at the parade and the crowds, our time up until the parade was wonderful. We grabbed FPs for Space Mountain, rode the People Mover which was a great put your feet up resting time, did the Laugh Floor, and saw the Carousel of Progress. Our ride on Space was great. The right side is definitely faster by the way! We had ice cream bars and popcorn while sitting and waiting for the parade to start (before the bullying family came along).

4. Riding Expedition Everest by ourselves first thing in the morning!
With as many people as were in Disney World over Easter weekend, you wouldn’t guess it by the line for Expedition Everest. It was non-existent! We rode it twice in a row. Once in the front of the car and once in the back. Let me tell you, front was wayyy better! It was a lot more exciting! Here’s a really bad “redneck” picture.

3. Hanging out at the pool one afternoon.

We had a long morning at Hollywood Studios and we were ready to relax a little bit and put our feet up! The weather was beautiful, we had an amazing morning, we were drinking some delicious frozen smoothies, and we still had over half of our trip left!

2. Our morning at Hollywood Studios.
We had to wait about 45 minutes or so before they let us through the turnstiles but we were the 2nd family at our turnstile. It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining but it wasn’t too hot, yet. When we were let in the park the herd went on past Sunset Blvd. whereas my sister and I, and a few others turned and headed towards RnRC and ToT. We did have to follow the CMs WALKING to the attractions but it was no big deal. We grabbed FPs for RnRC first thing and then entered the queue. We nearly walked on. Then we went over to ToT and rode that twice in a row without waiting as well. We then went back over to RnRC and decided to ride that standby again. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes or so. We then got some iced coffees from Starring Rolls (SO GOOD) and pounded them down as we went over to TSM. The wait time said 45minutes I believe and we were just going to wait. However, we walked all the way to the point where you pick up your 3D glasses and BAM! The CM working taking FPs asks us how many in our party and he let us go on through the FP line! 5 minute wait!!! Amazing! We then went over to use our RnRC FP, and rode ToT again as well. We were both feeling pretty crummy from riding those thrill rides so many times in a row so we went on over to the Great Movie Ride before seeing if we could get checked in early for our ADR at 50’s PTC.

1. Our lunch at 50’s Prime Time Café.
This can’t be grouped in the same category as our morning at Hollywood Studios because this deserves a spot all its own! Let me start by saying that I didn’t tell my sister how they act at this restaurant and it was the best decision ever! I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. The servers were all in such good character, especially ours. It wasn’t overly so either. He poked fun at the guy sitting at the table behind us as his server was bringing his 2nd refill in a short time by saying “You better stop drinking those or your going to be in the bathroom all day!” Then, my sister loves British accents and there was a table across the way that had sat down shortly after us that were speaking with an accent and my sister looked over and their server “yelled” at her for staring. I was CRACKING up. You should have seen my sister’s face! The best part, however, was when our server noticed my sister’s green finger nails. He said “I’ve never seen nails that color before.” Then proceeded to get everyone’s attention of the tables around us to show them. He went on to say, “What color do you call that, swamp frog?” I was CRYING at this point. But wait, it gets better. He disappears to get our check and when he comes back I look up and I see something is not quite right with HIS “fingernails”. He motions for me to “Shhh.” Then proceeds to place the check down right in front of my sister showing off his post-it note fingernails that he painted green. Hahahahahaha! It was priceless! He then put them on the back of my sister’s shirt. I’m so mad that I don’t remember his name but we do have an amazing picture with him. He was the best server, ever!

I'm actually going to go with 7. I'm not sure if you're including Splash or not :lmao: Technically, it travels on water, but it's not a boat.

Huh... I'm confused, then, because I went and looked at a list of rides at WDW and counted 8. Maybe I'm missing a few. Do you know if your book is including Donald's Boat in Toontown? That's not there anymore :lmao:

Nope, it's not. I don't mind if you guys talk it out on here as well. I don't want to go ahead and start listing them myself b/c I don't want to be the light bulb yet! :)

Congrats, Nermel9, you are CORRECT with an answer of 10! :)

It's a Small World
Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise
Splash Mountain
Liberty Square Riverboat
Maelstrom
Gran Fiesta Tour
Kali River Rapids
Living with the Land
Peter Pan's Flight (It IS a ship!)

I also would have accepted 11 because the only way to get to Tom Sawyer island is on the raft...

Current Standings:
Nermel9-1
Southerntinkerbelle-0
DisneyFireFly-0
Joyciemc-0

:lmao: I always forget Living With The Land... And I think I've only been on Peter Pan twice :rotfl: That explains why I forgot them :) But yay for Nermel9! :yay:

I didn't believe it when the book said Living with the Land, so I had to pull out the Epcot map I have from last trip...:rotfl:

I think the reason I always forget that one's in a boat is because I've NEVER been on it  There are only a few rides or attractions I haven't done, and that's one of them.

I'm late... I was going to say seven! But I didn't read the question carefully so I was only thinking of Magic Kingdom... :headache:

Yay, I got one right! It will probably be my only one! :rotfl:

Ummm...I'm assuming the next answer is Rock N Rollercoaster too, but looks like I'm kind of late!

I completely forgot about Peter Pan! And the two I was confused on were Tom Sawyer and Kali since I didn't know if they counted as boats. :confused3 It seems like RnRC is it for the current question. Maybe I'll be quicker next time!
