Glad to hear that your 7 are peaceful. I can just remember having one brownie whose meds always wore off right before my meetings. She was bouncing off the walls. Really made for a hectic meeting.
I'm not doing a troop this year. My 11yo DD has a great leader and there isn't a troop at the school for my 8yo DD. I just don't have the time to do one this time.
bfeller - My troop last year was 11 special needs kids. We did it right after school because it was the best time but it is also the time meds wear off It could get interesting. We only had 1hr meetings but sometimes they seemed really long.
We are about a month into Brownies - we had an encampment in Prince William National Forest a couple of weeks ago, and this Saturday is the Harvest for the Hungry in Beltsville, MD.
Busy, busy little girls!!
We also just signed up for an overnight at the Maryland Science Center in January - can't wait for that one!
Had our first meeting 2 weeks ago and the girls had TONS of fun ideas!!!
Going to "leader camp" (called sink or swim here. Is it called that anywhere else?) For 3 whole days on Friday!!! SOOOO excited!!! NASA is training some of us!!!!
I should be the peppiest leader in council come next monday's meeting!!! Isn't scouts a blast!!!!!
