A WONDERful way to celebrate Independence Day! - Disney Wonder July 1, 2013

The Vault has an edgier, hip type of Disneyana. Mostly female clothing and accessories but some interesting knock knacks as well. I have to admit that I'll occasionally run into the store to check it out.

Sounds up my alley :)

Steve beat me to it! :lmao: but yes, it's edgier and that's where I get my Disney tops, they are perfect for young women and juniors. They also tend to have a lot of Alice stuff, and I love it!

Duly noted! Hopefully we will have some time on our arrival day to explore DTD...we might also go on departure day for an hour or two after leaving the parks.

I don't think the DTD in Disney World has that store - what makes it so unique? I confess that the World of Disney store in Florida sends me into hysterical fits of happiness....as does the Christmas store...as does the toy store...

Not good at keeping up on the Dis boards. sorry...

Just wanted to let you know, I am still onboard with you all.

If anyone decides to open a fb page for this sailing, let me know. I would love to join.

I'm not sure if everyone has Facebook in this group, but so long as we also keep this thread active, I'm happy to set a group up! I am assuming we'd want it to be a private/closed group...

I'm with you, thus thread is where we will draw new people it should bethe primary place for communication. However many people, including myself, check Facebook more often than the DIS.

I would definitely be more active on FB. Info can always be brought to both.

Thanks.

Ok I just started a Facebook group called'a wonderful way to celebrate independence day' it's set as a closed group tho so I'm not sure how people join? I think you may have to friend me? Or I can set as open? I'm pretty easy to find, I think there's only one Clare forbes-black on the planet ;)

Not sure. I've never started a Facebook group before. I tried to search it out and cannot. I'll bet that you will have to add people to it. Maybe we can swap data via PM?

Sure, pm me & ill add you. It can be trial & error ;)

You should be able to add people by PM, or post the link directly here so people can ask to be added.

That said... ME! ME! Add ME! There are a jillion people with my first/last name combo out there, though (two in my school district alone...e-mail is such fun at work...), so you'll have to send me the link somehow.

Hi everyone :) Has anyone heard anything about the panning for gold excursions?

It's kind of a disorganized pain to wade through, but the Alaska excursions thread (in the first post) is awesome. You can search within the thread for "gold panning" and see what comes up!

PS - I think you have enough posts to PM now ;)

Thanks!! That's what I was going for ;) PM you shortly.

Ooh - moderator! I feel special

Feel free to friend me, as well...I have many Disney photos for you to stalk, including last summer's jaunt to the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Fran on my birthday and my stint as an extra in the Indiana Jones show two summers ago! ;)
