Anyone else ordered a FE from Gradysmommy on Etsy? She has done nothing but stall and give excuses for not shipping.

My wife ordered one on March 10th and we have not received it. IMO this is a very bad way of doing business on her part.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience - does the seller have an estimated timeline for orders listed on her site? An almost 3 month wait is really ridiculous. I ordered my FE years ago from a seller I can't find anymore, and ordered for friends we cruised with two years ago from StitchesNBows and was very pleased: http://www.etsy.com/shop/StitchesNBows?ref=search_shop_redirect

If you are within 75 days of the date you paid for the FE, you can file a dispute with Etsy to get your money back: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/483#transaction_problems , assuming that you decide to cancel the transaction and the seller doesn't agree. Since we're within a month of sailing and StichesNBows should be able to accommodate you, maybe try that route...

Shaggy - sorry to hear about your experience We ordered from her for the PC cruise, and it arrived in plenty of time for us (although maybe we were "bumped" as it had to be shipped o/s ?). Good luck with a suitable outcome

Sorry to hear. I hate when added stress like that is happening around my vacation. We, well mom (aka antlawn), is making ours. She does a little sewing when necessary so we decided to tackle ours on our own. She has hers done and has two more to make. Maybe she has extra material. ;-)

Oh shoot! I didn't realize it still had people missing, I need to re-download it again....if I can find it LOL....I don't want to find myself short on gifts. It looked like it was already 25, but no problem, I've only just started as I need to be out of school to have more time for it. 3 more days til that...

No people were missing - the number is still the same, we just had people who were GTY without rooms assigned

Hi there!

Unfortunately, since many people's gifts take a lot of time and effort to make, we closed our FE group a while back. (You can see this on the first page of this thread.) For example, I got together quantities of things based on the fact that there are 25 rooms and at this point would not have enough of my items to put together a 26th gift for your family. I'm so sorry to disappoint, but many of us have been working on our gifts for months. If you have time to put something together and would like to try to participate, you are welcome to give me your information and be added to the list so that you can give gifts to others; however, I know that there are a number of people in our group who will not be able to return the favor with such short notice. Let me know what you'd like to do - happy to involve you in whatever way we can. Again, if you want to make gifts without a guarantee of receiving in return from everyone, we have a Google doc set up with everyone's names, ages, cabin numbers, etc. that I'd be happy to give you.

The FE is just one part of being involved in our cruise, though, and frankly sometimes it's almost more of a pain than it's worth! I'd encourage you to say a big hello to everyone on our Facebook group (which I think I just added you to!), where things have been very active for a while now, and get to know us. With the cruise so close, people have been posting a lot every day. This is really a terrific group of people, and I'm SO excited to meet everyone in just under two weeks. We have a couple of meet-ups all set to go, including a get-together on the first day and PJ breakfast that your kids would be more than welcome to attend. Please don't feel put-off about the FE deadline passing - we're all excited, too!!

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but just a reminder that when you get on the ship, it's Canada Day and the festivities start at 10am right next to the cruise terminal so expect some chaos

That's been my experience! Back on the Dream the port didn't even open until almost an hour after we got there, so we got to sit and chill in line up in the parking garage with all the other early arrivers. We bought tickets to the new Fly Over Canada attraction to keep ourselves occupied that morning.
