Loved your TR Dianne. So nice to see that you all had a great time while dealing with personal challenges. Life is all about attitude! And your boys will treasure those memories forever.

One simple thing that I noticed in your stateroom pictures was the magnetic hooks on the back of your door. It was a lightbulb moment for me - when we were on our cruise, I forgot our KTTW cards more than once. If it was hung on the back of the door, I wouldn't forget and lock myself out. A most important addition to my packing list!

Thank you so much. I think the boys definitely will remember that trip forever. I don't think a day goes by that it hasn't been mentioned at least once.

I would love to credit for bring the magnets for that purpose, I actually brought them to hold the wreath on the door but it was too heavy. It did work our really well. I also used one to hang a list of pre-planned activities so we could easily see what we had that day.

Wonderful trip report, thanks for sharing! Your older boy sounds just like mine! He also says he can't stand his little brother and every now and then I find him being so sweet to the little guy.

It's funny because if he gets something, like cookies at school he always asks if he can have one for his brother. I think all kids say they don't like their siblings but really do.

Lucky for us another DIS family that we had met was waiting in the same lounge. They were originally from Germany; they moved to Australia for a few years and were in the process of moving back to Germany. This cruise was something they were doing on the way back. It was nice to talk to them about their move and the things they have seen in their journey thank you NarrabeenSteph for the conversation.

I just found your lovely TR. Thank you Dianne for your point of view on this amazing cruise! I can´t believe it´s almost 9 months, that we´ve been on the Wonder. Your boys are so precious, please say Hi to them (if they can remember me *lol*).

I am so glad you found it. I got the email that there was something posted and it surprised me, because it's been so long.

I hope your journey went well and that all your things found you as well.

The boys remember you and said hello back. We still talk about the cruise, nt everyday but at least once a week

Yeah, we had a great time in California after the cruise, went to SF and for NYE to Disneyland. We arrived in Germany the first week in January. All our belongings found their way into our new appartment late March.
I´ve been busy the last months and didn´t check the boards. That´s why I´m responding that late
I am currently writing a TR myself, but for a German Disney Board. So I am reliving the entire trip, just as you did.

Yeah, we had a great time in California after the cruise, went to SF and for NYE to Disneyland. We arrived in Germany the first week in January. All our belongings found their way into our new appartment late March.

I hope you guys get to go on another cruise again soon! I saw you were looking at the Hawaii ones! My mom and I are going on the October one! We're very excited! Wish you guys could be on there with us!!

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately the Hawaii cruise isn't going to happen for us. I have to buy private insurance starting in October and it's going to cost more than the cruise.

It's okay if I never have another opportunity to go on a Disney cruise because the magic of the first one was worth it I hope you have as much fun as we did.
