Sorry that I am just now replying, but the picture of Mickey Mouse opening his arms for the boys to run into, gets me EVERY time I see it. I can't imagine a more magical place then Disney.

Just caught up with this trip report and have to say BEST TRIP REPORT EVER!!! I'm crying like a baby now We leave for Disney in 6 days and I'm going to make this the last TR I read before I leave - talk about the good warm fuzzy feelings! The most AMAZING - completely surreal thing - just happened to me!

I was watching TV and about to walk out the door to go to my friend's house when I jumped on the DIS real quick.

(I know, I know...addicted!)

I checked my UserCP...made a few posts...then decided to check the Theme Parks board real quick before I walked out the door.....


When I saw THIS:

Did you open MK on 9/7?

and inside it said...

"If so, let me know i have some pics of you!"


People...It was the FIRST thread on that board. She had JUST posted it.

Not the second or third...the FIRST thread. She posted at 5:45...I responded at 5:48.

I have chills.

I am crying.

I can't believe someone would take the time to even post at all on the DIS that they had pictures of a family they didn't even know.

She had no idea that was a Wish Family. She had no idea I was on the DIS.


I love Disney. I love the DIS.

Everything about this whole thing...from the beginning (remember - this all started because someone saw a small post on the same Theme Parks Board) to now...

So...when I get those pics...I will be able to continue this TR! (That is what I was waiting for!)

Feel free to post on that thread and thank this very nice person for offering these pics!!!!! How very, very kind!!

Oh my gosh…look at that crowd! It was Labor Day morning, so there was quite a crowd out there!

Just thought you should know, while I took your picture, YOU TOOK MINE!!! The boy on the right hand side...if you look right above his right shoulder, there are 2 people standing next to each other in white shirts, DH is the one on the right and I am on the left taking YOUR picture!!

What a beautiful story! I stumbled upon this from the thread of livinlife25...I have marked Lucas' mom's thread to read tomorrow night! I cannot wait to continue on with you... my dgt who rolls her eyes at me for dissing...even had tears of magical joy as I shared the story with her...and thank you for posting the link for the next page at the bottom...I will later go back and read the many wonderful comments (I have read some)! but, this allowed me to enjoy the story of Lucas in 40 min instead of two days!

I think this is the picture that goes along with it... Mickey is to the left, the girl with the red bow is to your girls right. you are clearly taking a picture at the time...The only difference is that the boy must have raised his hand in between mine and yours lol!! What do you think?

Edit- he IS raising his hand in my picture, you just cant see it clearly!!!
