Molly, I can't believe you are only five days away. I feel you will have perfect weather (at least I am praying for it for you).

Thanks Kathy. It's so hard being misunderstood. And I know your gentle nudging of Tim is done with love so that makes it ok. Of course we're both , why would anyone think differently?

Thanks for the prayer, I seriously think accuweather has some kind of vendetta against me or something. The weather predictions are so extreme...one day they said it would be about 60 degrees with rain. Now they're saying that same day is going to be 83 degrees without rain? My head hurts.

We had just gotten off the Pirates of the Caribbean and looked around. Where did all the people go? A quick glance at my phone told us it was 7pm. It was party time! We walked toward Aladdin's Magic Carpets and it was literally a walk on. SCORE!

It was starting to get chilly so the spitting camel must of been shut off for the night. I wasn't too sad though, I really didn't feel like getting wet. We got off the ride and there was a hot chocolate and sugar cookie stand right there. We figured we would stop and grab some. (If you didn't know, the hot chocolate and sugar cookies are free all night). We sat down on a bench to get situated and I asked a CM to take our picture.

We had the light up Mickey Heads that came in the gift bag that Kathy and Marv bought us so we broke those out as well. There were at least 10 people who asked us where we got them from. We didn't see 1 other person with them all night. Yea, we felt cool! LOL

We were going to walk over to FrontierLand to get ready for the parade that was started at 8:15 but we spotted a princess we had to see. Jasmine! She was so kind to Juliana and Aladdin was too. We snapped a few pictures of Juliana with them.... and of course, we got a few PP one's too.

Juliana was having too much fun and Melody & I wanted to join in too.... or was it I just wanted to get next to Jasmine? I forget.....

Our first character conquered! When we arrived at FrontierLand to find a spot for the parade, there were a lot of people waiting already. We ended up standing behind a few people but they were sitting right at the rope so it wasn't bad at all. I ended up holding Juliana for most of the parade so I didn't get many good pictures. Here are a few from the parade:

Sorry for the blurriness. We were in a dark area and trying to hold the camera still while holding Juliana is a challenge sometimes. LOL We enjoyed the parade but both Melody & I agreed that the parade during MNSSHP was better for a few reasons.... the biggest being the MUSIC!

We wanted to get in front of the castle to see Holiday Wishes. Our route brought us through FantasyLand and we stopped for a quick ride on one of our favorites- It's a Small World. We ended up being on a boat all by ourselves!

It was getting close to 9:30 and we couldn't play much longer. We HAD to get to the front of the castle. We were in the hub- with 5 minutes to spare. I went to get Juliana out of the stroller and she was falling asleep. I picked her up and held her for a few minutes and she was fighting the heavy eyelids.

The lights dimmed and the music started.

Tinkerbell flew right over our head.

Half way through the fireworks Juliana wanted to go back into the stroller which isn't like her. I was watching her and she was fighting falling asleep. Once the finale was over it was over for Juliana. She passed out instantly.

Ha-ha, an offsite POP complex would be awesome! You can easily find work too. Seriously if you could work a few weddings for some of the Dis board brides, they'd be singing your praises and you'd start getting booked. Since most of the brides are out of state they rely strongly on the reviews. As for the heat, you really do get used to it.

You have it all figured out don't cha! LOL It all sounds good to me!

Of course I conducted this first hand. I braved the foreign tour groups and chilly temps on Saturday to check it out - it was in the 40's. But seriously, it was cold out there. And packed! Main Street was ridiculous and they even had the backstage exit going because you couldn't walk down Main Street. You would've sworn they were giving out stuff for free.
You are very welcome. It's the least I can do and I'm always up for a reason to go to the park.

WOW. I wonder why it was so packed? I thought Jan was the slow season?

Wicked has a few places where it gets intense and pretty loud, my friends took her 6 year old (who is pretty fearless) and she LOVED it!!!
the music is wonderful, you could get the CD so Ana could learn the songs!!

Thanks for the info. Maybe we will have to plan a spring trip to the city to see it.

Now it's only 5 days away! I can hardly wait but I need to stop looking at the weather, it keeps changing everyday and it's melting my brain.

It HAS to be warmer there than it is in CT. The high here today was 12.

Well, the 1st part of what you said is true Marv. Now the 2nd part, well frankly it's not very flattering. Where is this coming from?

How fun! Jasmine must've been freezing! Poor reading on my part, though. I though you had written "my angel" so I kept scrolling for a pic of Juliana, and got so confused when I didn't see one. Then I realized my mistake. Doh! If I could do it all over again, is make sure to see the fireworks. Your nighttime pictures are great!

Awesome update Tim! Loved all the pics, this is one especially sweet and I know I've said it before but your girls are so pretty:

Don't you just love It's a Small World? We really do, it's one of our favorite old school rides, along with the Carousel of Progress. How cool to have your own boat! I'd feel like a celebrity or something, they must've known Ana was coming!

I swear, some of your pics are better than the photopass ones! Are you a secret photographer? Your fireworks pics came out pretty darn good! I always end up with blurry ones but I have a new camera now and in 5 short days, I'll be taking my own pics! This one looks like a postcard:

Those light up Mickey necklaces are fabulous! I'm amazed that Marv did something cool like that. Of course Kathy would, she's already cool like that. Seriously though, those are cool looking, did you wear yours too?

So sweet that Ana was fighting off sleep. That means she had a great time! When we drag ourselves back to the hotel room after a day at the parks, it takes all of 10 minutes for my girls to fall asleep! That's what it makes it so fun, right? It really looks like you all had such a great time at the party. The castle was stunning too!

Well, it's obvious Kathy and I are of the same mind. We have to keep you boys in line!

Oh, if only it would stay 83! But it's better than where we are too, it was 7 last night. And it's that cold that makes your bones go brrrrr! You know, when you shiver so much that it gives you a headache.

First, I can't believe that I am actually awake for an update!!!!!!!!!! And I was going to go to bed too (sore throat; Andy has been sick for a week and I think he has shared with me and my BMF has pneumonia).

Ok, so the weather has been extremely wacky here. I told Andre (my DF) that it seriously is like the Katy Perry song 'It's hot then it's cold...'
Last week Weds & Thurs were almost in the 80's and beautiful. Then Friday & Saturday was chilly & windy with low's in the 30's. My poor plants, I keep moving them indoors and out because of the frost. Its a miracle if they survive. I would honestly say to pack some stuff to keep you and the family warm and some stuff just in case its warm out too. I hope this helps.

*Great update Tim! The pics of the castle were worth the wait on that one. Molly took the words out of my mouth about the pics being postcard worthy.

As for having everything planned - I keep telling Andre that I need to find some sort of business that is wedding related. I lurk the weddings board a lot and gosh it's amazing how much business Disney is getting for the weddings.

Oh, thanks so much! I appreciate the insider info! What's making it worse is that I am a serious over packer and now with the weird weather forecasts, I feel like I'm packing for 2 separate trips! I hope your plants survive too! Thanks again, this was extremely helpful.
