Sorry for the flurry of updates.. 3 days down 4 to go. I'm trying to get this TR done in 4 weeks... think I can do it?

Don't apologize, I am THRILLED! 4 Weeks???You are on the right track ...now where is my update for today!!!!

The tea party was pricey but the girls thought it was worth it. How was the Tea Party for the girls?

The Alice and Mad Hatter Tea Party was a lot of fun and games, the girls had a ball and the food was good too. It was so sweet, when the parents returned each girl gave their Mom a small bouquet of flowers they had assembled and decorated with ribbon,,,it was precious. Lisa would have preferred the doll!

We are usually drama free.. mostly.

I TRY to be drama free , it likes to find me, especially when I am not looking...


We had a nice dinner.. My food was REALLY good!

It looked YUMMY!


Hopefully you guys have warm weather. There is a whole sprinkler area too, which we didn't use because it was too cold.

I look forward to it...IF it is warm!


We got a lot of sleet which helped. We had freezing drizzle all afternoon so everything is covered with ice now. Oh yea, plus it is snowing again.

Snowing...I hope by NOW it has stopped! It is sleeting here, all good things must come to an end.

Woefully behind. Just wanted to pop in and say I'm glad Juliana had a good time at the tea party, even she did get a little bonk on the head. Disney is awesome with their medical response, aren't they? I know you didn't need all the care they were offering, but I'm always so impressed with how they handle those situations!

And I have to smile at the picture of Juliana with the CM in front of the Grand Flo! That gentleman has been there forever, and he's so sweet, I just adore him.

Aww... how sweet! I've seen pictures of the Alice Tea- jenseibs DD went and Jen was able to get pictures of it. It looked very fun!

Catching up....

I continued on the loop and got off at the Poly. This is where I was going to spend my alone time. I walked over to Kona Island Cafe Coffee Bar and asked for a cup of 100% Kona coffee- like they serve in the restaurant but they only serve the blend here. So I walked over to Kona Cafe and asked for a table. I told my server Pat that I just wanted a press pot. She said no problem and before long, I was sitting in Kona by myself, drinking a pressed pot all to my self. I was sitting there people watching and just relaxing. Pat & had a few short conversations when she was checking on me and she was really nice. I told her I was going to request her the next morning (Sat) since we would be eating at Kona for breakfast. I was finishing up my pressed pot when I got a text from Melody saying 'Come Here Now' I ordered a Kona blend to go from Pat to bring to Melody and when Pat brought it to me she said it was on her. Sweet!

LOVE that breakfast cart idea! I would be ordering that everyday probably.

The tea party pictures are sooooo sweet. How wonderful and special that must have been for every single girl! Did Juliana just love it?

And I gotta say, I think your idea of how to pass the time is fan-freakin-tastic! And I think it's AWESOME you went into Kona just for a pressed pot of that glorious black beverage. (Though, the Kona blend is quite good-NOTHING beats the pressed pot!)

I could see all the girls getting in line except for Juliana who was still sitting at her spot with her back to me. Moments later I saw numerous EMT and men in suits with earpieces converging on the area where the tea party was taking place. I could hear the people standing next to me saying OMG something must of happened. While I was trying to see what was going on, I realized that they were all walking towards and surrounding Juliana and Melody.

I can just picture you flying over that rope! I started tearing up, wondering what could have happened! Thankfully it was just a nasty bump, so glad she was okay and could rejoin the party! WHEW!!!!!!!

We were about 10 minutes from GKTW stopped at a light when her cousin pulled next to us. The little guy, the one that Juliana was sitting next to at dinner, the one that Juliana was sharing french fries with, the one that Juliana was touching and playing with all evening, just projectile vomited all over the car. They weren't coming to GKTW anymore... they were stopping to clean up what they could then were heading home.

Again... I sure hope he did not pass that bug onto Juliana.

It was a sight watching each child get announced. Every one clapped after each child was presented with their gift. It was one of those moments that was both happy and sad. There were so many kids there with so many different 'problems' but they were all having a great time and maybe, for just a few minutes, nothing in the world mattered but having their name called and to hear people cheering for them.

The Pirate & Princess crowning made me tear up. What a wonderful way to make each child feel so special.

And the tuck-in! LOVE THAT! How fun!!! GKTW is AMAZING!!!!!

i only liked one guy on there team about 4 years ago, and that was only because i went to high school with him, but now he plays for the texans so i can hate the whole NE team again.

If you do another update while Molly is gone, she is going to kill you. It makes me want to wander the parks screaming "Molly, aka 3prettyprincesses - Tim's doing updates, you gotta log on!'.

More snow? Wow. Did the north somehow upset the Snow gods and now you're being punished. I really do think you need to just hop on a plane and come down for a quick weekend visit to escape the snow...

Well, I went done can got me an update behind. The one thing that really caught me was the way that the Pirate or Princess party left each child feeling special- and it was such an "in the moment" thing. No matter what else was going on in their precious lives- it was all about THAT moment! How neat. (yes, I still love that word.)

Well the forecast changed and we are only going to get 3 or so inches with some rain mixed in. Now they are saying next week is going to be the sorm of all storms. They do always say that though.

Mel was looking at the temps in Disney this morning and asked me if I could call in to work tomorrow so we could fly down for the weekend. I think Mel got jealous because her cousin was taking the kids to MK today.

We better...I have plans for tomorrow! And the weather in Orlando the next couple weeks looks gorgeous. I will truly be beside myself if we catch just one 80 degree day. Is that too much to ask for after the winter we've had?

And yes, Thursday's mess does sound like it could potentially be horrendous, but its a ways off and could do a number of things before then...let's hope it does!

I just looked though the first page of your TR & your Flicker acct. WOW. Your pictures are fantastic! I wish I had the a) time, to stop and take pictures like that, which is hard when you are toting around a child, b) the knowledge of my camera & the correct lenses, c) actually bringing my DSLR which I always leave home, and d) ummm did I need to add a d)?

I didn't think it was too cold that night... we were in MK on Monday 12/6. Now that was cold!

I've been running out of adjectives to describe GKTW. I think I've been using amazing a lot.... but that's what it was.

The volunteers at GKTW are angels. They really make the place even more special than it already is.

Well, Mel's cousin's FB status today was 'At MK, where are the people. All the rides were 5-10 minutes.' GRRRRRRR Believe me, we wish we were there enjoying the beautiful weather!

Hey, if you can swing it you should come down for a weekend. I'm sure you can stay with her family, right? That'll save you on hotel costs. Plus I bet it'll be really nice to miss out on the next storm if its the storm of all storms.

I keep this thought in mind.

I have to work the next few weekends so I would have to send the girls. Mel & Juliana went down to FL last year without me for a weekend. I'm sure she would jump at the chance to do it again.
