We had just gotten off the Pirates of the Caribbean and looked around. Where did all the people go?

I get that feeling a lot. But it's not usually because a party started. It's usually something I did.

We had the light up Mickey Heads that came in the gift bag that Kathy and Marv bought us so we broke those out as well. There were at least 10 people who asked us where we got them from. We didn't see 1 other person with them all night. Yea, we felt cool! LOL

You guys are cool. And so are those Mickey heads.

Juliana was having too much fun and Melody & I wanted to join in too.... or was it I just wanted to get next to Jasmine? I forget.....

I don't know, Tim. Looks like Mel is cozying up to Aladdin pretty good, too.

Well, there were a few left when I went to the party a few days later, but I think I had the last one. Or maybe the last two. OK, probably the last 9 or 10.

Your pictures are nice, but for some reason they're not as memorable as Barry's. Can't quite place the reason...

I think the angle of his eyes is off just a bit...

You have should of seen the trays of cookies. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of them.

Same reason I didn't - you're too in awe of that much sugar, staring you in the face, begging you to eat it.

I know there are quite a few people who dislike IASM but I love it. It just SCREAMS Disney to me. Plus that song it so catchy!

Thanks.... I try. I only use my point & shoot but I am thinking about bringing my DSLR next time.... but then again, I really don't feel like lugging it around. I have a hard enough time with the one I already have.

Juliana passed out so quickly... she was shot but she had to watch to the end of the fireworks.

Just think... a few more days till you can drag yourselves back to that hotel room! Where are you staying BTW?

We always have to ride IASW, it's tradition! I tease my youngest DD that she's so cute that I'm going to put her in the ride like one of the dolls. She laughs everytime, isn't it great that she at least humors me? I'm sure that time will pass soon enough. I agree though, the old school Disney rides will always have a place in my heart! Ugh, that sounds like a promo Disney commercial, doesn't it?

So let me get this straight, you were taking Wishes pics AND holding Ana?? Wow, you're one talented guy! (I'm taking my DSLR this time and can't wait!!) I'm glad she made it through the fireworks at least!

We're staying at the Grand Floridian. DH has informed me that this is only resort he really likes and I am not complaining in the least! My plan is to spend a bit more time there, it's so pretty!

Yes I saw them. They were very... ummmm... NICE!

The weather in FL has been up and down, but it is better to be up and down than just down like it was last year.

this is how we packed for Dec... the temps were all over.

Well of course my comments were nice! This isn't Marv's TR, is it? Ya, there's a wide temp. range for the week we're there...62, 74, 83, and then back to 60's. Seriously, hasn't meterology come far enough to predict better weather than that?

I have to behave... Mel reads my reports. Although I haven't been able to get her to sign up yet.

Ahhh, so that's why you are so polite and behave (most of the time). Mel should totally join the disboards! She doesn't realize all the fun she's missing.

We had just finished watching the fireworks and Juliana was passed out in the stroller. What were we going to do? There was a Christmas show- Celebrate The Season- starting in front of the castle at 10:05. We figured we would stay to see this show and see how we felt after.

The show was really good and for some reason I only took a picture or two of it.

We packed a few extra sweatshirts and my jacket around Juliana in the stroller. She was bundled up and sleeping like a baby. We thought we would hang around a while longer. We knew we would be back in MK 2 more times this trip so we decided to just walk around and not go on any rides. We would just take in the sights. We headed towards Toontown but some flashing lights caught our eye in Cosmic Rays..

It was a dance party!

They were doing a few line dances and Goofy and a few other characters were dancing along with the kids and adults. I think Mel even did the Cha-cha slide.

We left the dance party after 10 minutes or so and continued walking towards Toontown. I was a little disappointed that Juliana was sleeping because I thought she would of loved to see the princesses dressed in their Christmas gowns. But then again, if she was that tired it is good she wasn't fighting to stay awake. I'm sure she would of been a beast! LOL

We walked through Mickey and Minnie houses.

There is a kid in that stroller.....

We browsed in the Hall of Fame Tent for a while and when we came out I saw this on the ground.

I told Melody that a CM made that with a pail and mop and she didn't believe me. We started walking towards FantasyLand and we saw this guy.

It was really cool watching him create the Mickey with nothing more than water! It was close to 11 and we had a 30 minute drive back to GKTW. We weren't in a hurry, we just thought it would be a good time to head towards the exit. We saw a short line for a few more of our friends that we had to stop in!

The CM told us that Eeyore and Tigger would be coming out in a minute. Eeyore is Melody's FAVORITE so after seeing Pooh & Piglet we got back in the short line. Minutes later Pooh & Piglet left and 2 new characters showed up. It was perfect timing. We were the first people to see Tigger & Eeyore. We walked over to see them and Melody walked right by Tigger and gave Eeyore a huge hug!

Poor Tigger! He go sad and ran over to the railing and started crying.. I had to go cheer him up.

I told him it was OK and my wife does that to me all the time! We consoled each other.

Melody apologized to Tigger and he forgave her. It was really funny.

We kept moving towards Main St. and by the looks of it, we stopped for some more hot chocolate and for another PP pic in front of the castle.

I love this picture... except for that flash going off behind us. GRRRR!

It was really fun spending some quality time with Melody. We really had a great time just walking through MK. I'm so glad we decided on staying for a while.

We spotted some snow falling on Main St.

We popped into the Emporium for some more shopping. Melody modeled a few hats for me.

It was 11:45 already- where did the time go? It was time to say goodbye to MK and all the great Christmas decorations.

We had a long but great 1st day in Disney.

We made it to our car and then drove back to GKTW. We put Juliana to bed and then Mel was beat and went to sleep. I stayed up for a few minutes to take all the pictures off my camera and get them on my computer. I hopped on the DIS for a minute from my phone to give a little update at 1:23am!!!!!!!!

Wow.... can I say it again. Wow! What a day. Kathy did a good job of keeping you up to date with what we've been doing. LOL it is 1:15am and I am unloading all my pics off my camera. The castle was amazing, MVMCP was great with low crowds but we still didnt get to do everything we wanted, there is just not enough time. Tomorrow Juliana has her tea party and we are meeting up with Melodys cousin and family. We are looking forward to a fun but less busy day than today.... and a much earlier night as well. Thanks for following along while we are on our trip! Goodnight!!

I love the pictures with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger and the story of Mel and Eeyore (I did the same thing only with me going directly to Tigger at Halloween party). You got great shots of all of it.

Love the snow falling at the MK and what great photopass pictures of you and your beautiful wife in front of the castle.

I'm glad you and Mel got some quality time together too...that is very important in a relationship (glad Eeyore didn't kidnap her). And nice job with the hats, Mel!!!!

I can remember watching Juliana when she rode it the first time- her eyes were so BIG! She loved it!

She mostly just reads my updates... but she did read all the comments after I posted that picture of her on the monorail!

How fun that you stayed at the MK, even though Juliana fell asleep! I had to when I saw that photo of Mel next to the stroller - you have to look real hard to "see" the kid in there!

Glad you got to enjoy the shows and what a fun little story about meeting Tigger and Eeyore! That's what Disney is all about!

I an so glad you guys still stay.. Though if that was Claire, and she saw the photopass pictures we took ,she would be mad. I probably would've had to had her take pictures with them too...while sleeping in her stroller. LOL!

Again, I'm not sold on your story. It looks to me like you both had too many sugar cookies, and having a stroller full of them would back that up.

Meanwhile, Disney security has been alerted to a sleeping child left in the fire station.

A Disney custodian is not sure what to do with Juliana. She can't go to the castle, because Sleeping Beauty's castle is actually in California. He sets her down on a Walt Disney RR car while he mulls it over. Distracted by a ruckus near the entrance, he rushes off, and the train pulls away from the station.

All right, enough messing around. Looks like you two had a great time! I'm glad you had some time to wander around and just take it in. Not too many chances to do that on a Disney trip!

I have a few minutes between "stuff" and hopped on to see if you had updated and I wasn't disappointed ...how great, a date with your wife and your Princess was right there, I love it! I feel so thankful to be able to share the joys of this trip with you. I may just have to finally see a parade, if it is as gorgeous as your pictures!

Looked like some smack down with Tigger to me. Was it pay back for Eyeore hitting on your wife? Much more of that, and I could see a security incident repsonse.

Great that you and Mel could sort of wander at will, not worrying about your next move being dictated by Ana.

Is it not possible to photoshop the flash out of the picture? I have to say though that the 2nd one is just as charming!

So, were the cookies the yummier chewy kind, or the stale tasting icky crunchy numbers?? I gotta know. Gosh almighty, that has got me to wanting to make Snickerdoodles tonight!

geez, didnt get on for 24 hours and missed two updates!! great up dates tim!!! i love when theres no lines for the rides at the parties. a few years ago we hit the christmas party and it was packed!!! i never seen so many people. glad you guys hit a good night. we hit the hot coc. and cookies a few times when we there, we were trying to each eat and drink $50 buts worth. its a toss up for us between the christmas and the holloween. the hollo. parade i think is better but we like the christmas season. looks like juliana stayed warm!!! glad you guys had a good time! sorry, i forgot. at first it looked like you took tiger out for a few and he a little to much.

What the? Another update, Tim are you are outdoing yourself here! Fabulous update, simply fabulous! It seems like you and Mel had your own little date night at the MK while Juliana slept. You two are the cutest couple, this is a great pic of you both!

It really looks like you had a wonderful time while your wiped out princess slept away. Too hilarious that Mel brushed aside Tigger to get her hands on Eeyore! Poor Tigger, he wanted Mel but instead had to make do with you. The pics of you consoling him are soooo funny! I love pics that tell a story like that!

Aw, I love the pictures of you and your wife! That brings back fond memories of when Nemo would pass out during the Halloween parties and MJS and I would have a grand old time with characters and photos.
