I do not see DVC as an investment. I feel that it is an assurance that we will have suitable (lol) lodging when we go see the mouse.

The only part of buying through resale that would drive me nuts would be all the waiting! Eeeeeek!

CP, glad to hear Connor decided on his costume! Good luck with figuring that out though....and in just a few days...! Costume related, I read today that Old Navy is putting all their Halloween costumes on sale for 2 bucks on the 30th and 31st. It's gonna be a crazy madhouse I'm sure!

It's a 150 point contract. With some banked points....
We've decided that it's worth the wait for Disney to look at it. I really don't think they will buy it out from under us. We are paying a good price, but it isn't a steal by any means. Just much less than a purchase from Disney.

I had a parent-teacher conference on Monday and am very pleased with how well Hannah is doing. This year her school is doing a modified version of Response to Instruction (RtI). They're only doing it for reading (fluency and comprehension) and math facts. She is doing very well in both. Report cards will be going out soon. She gets out early tomorrow (11:45!) and then no school on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.

The school had their Fall Festival on Friday. We had a good time. I think the best part of the night for me was seeing the principle getting dunked in the dunking booth! Saw a lady with a really cool tattoo. It was the castle with Mickey standing in front of it and the fireworks going off. Hannah saw it before I did and said "Mommy! Look! The Castle!" LOL

I have no idea what crumping is but I am cracking up thinking about how it must look.....I am quite rhythm challenged so I can only imagine!

If I only lived closer I would send you Phillip's old helmet LOL!! However Jackie if you have an army surplus store in your area you won't have any problem finding a helmet for a reasonable price.

I was really impressed by how steady Marc was able to hold that video! We bought one of the original "Flip Video" cameras. I think the ones that are out are probably much better than what we have... Ours only holds 30 minutes, what you get now will hold at least an hour. Check your local Walmart, we've seen them there. You won't be disappointed.
I love my fit flops, they had them all over in June, I hope they still have them when you go down.

Here's some pixie dust! Maybe it will help you find that prince! I would suggest that you rent some points to try out a dvc resort! Renting is a great way to experience dvc!
