Sorry for the delay in writing this, I did try and post but have had problems adding the photos , so am going to try again. The problem seems to be scanning photos, they end up with a white border. I was just checking my sd cards and last years pics are still on them so slotted them into laptop and uploaded to photobucket ok. :thumbsup2

So let's recap The Cast:

Me: Julie - Chief planner and main disney fan - favourite is goofy
DH: David - Enjoys our disney trips - loves mickey
DD: Samantha 20 (21 whilst there) - loves Daisy Duck
DD: Josie 17 - loves Stitch (and Spongebob)

We flew with Virgin from Gatwick for the first time this trip. I worked until 2am, and when I got home woke the sleepyheads up, so we could make an early start.

We were driving ourselves, and had pre-booked parking with BAA. We made good time, no unforseen delays. :)

We decided to have a McD's breakfast before boarding, as starving after the journey. I had checked in on line, and picked our seats. :woohoo: We had 3 window seats and 2 middle row seats.

<a href="http://s518.photobucket.com/albums/u345/JULIEREES_2002/?action=view&current=SL380642.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i518.photobucket.com/albums/u345/JULIEREES_2002/SL380642.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

As soon as we were settled the kids went back to sleep. Due to lots of empty spaces on the flight we had the middle row to ourselves so DD could get comfy :rotfl:

The flight was uneventful, good movies, food was ok. Liked flying with Virgin due to free drinks and icecream ;). Everything went well until it was nearly time to land. I suddenly started to feel VERY sick. This is the first time I have ever been ill when flying. I had to make use of the little bags in the back of the seats, as we came to landing. :guilty: I am very sorry if any of you were on our flight, you will probably remember me. (It must have been that big mac LOL) I can't have overindulged with the freebies  Anyway the cabin crew were marvellous :thumbsup2 They helped me get off the plane first, where my family found me in ladies. Started to feel a bit better once my feet were on solid ground. Cleared customs and followed signs for Magic Express - another first for us. Weren't quite sure what to do but the airport staff were very patient and advised us where to go. Got outside to our bus to Port Orleans and were on our way within 15mins. Stopped at French Quarter first which looked very nice.

When I booked our accomodation, I had requested building 14 or 18 which seemed to be nearest the main dining area. I went to check in while everyone had a quick look around the lobby. It was very fast and efficient and the staff were really nice, I instantly felt the Disney magic, especially when they said my favourite words "Have a magical day". Well I bounced outside to find my family, but they didn't get it :confused3 What difference does it make what building we are in? Well I can tell you they thanked me when they were going back and fore to refill their cups, they could see the logic then.

Anyway we checked our room out, dropped our hand luggage and caught our first Disney bus to Magic Kingdom (family tradition). It brings a tear to my eye when I see the castle for the first time. (Brings a tear to my leaving it too :rotfl2:) We were there by 7.30pm and in 2 hours managed to ride HM,POC, SM and BTMR. Grabbed a snack in resort and were in bed by 10.30pm.

the tears flow for me too when i see that castle:sad:

looking forward to hearing more:thumbsup2:
