I know, crazy, right?
Well, when you're getting married this upcoming Saturday
and through a comedy of errors your Custom-Made-To-Your-Pooh-Sized-Proportions wedding dress gets LOST IN THE MAIL !!!!!! you start stressing a bit.
No worries, all is well, I found a nice bridesmaids dress off the rack at David's that will work nicely. I didn't have a white dress to begin with (Me? A white wedding dress??
) so it's not like I'd be losing out on anything that I had my heart set on. Well, other than the dress I truly wanted.
But, it will be okay! Honestly, the biggest bummer about the whole thing now that I fixed the immediate crisis is that the custom-made princess dresses for my fiancee's girls were also in that same box.
So, not only am I stressed about the wedding, we have to also prepare for our Disney road trip!! We did a $100 pre-trip shop yesterday at the local discount mega-mart, stuff for the car, drinks, some dry goods to eat for lunch/dinner on the trip (we're staying off-site in a condo) and we're still going to have to buy more when we get there! Milk, eggs, hot dogs, etc. Oh, and no worries, we still have plenty of ADRs and will be eating plenty of nice meals out.
But we still want to have SOME simple meals at the condo! Why else have the kitchen, ya know?
Anyway, I woke up at like 3:30 AM, and after shuffling some laundry, re-packing a couple outfits for the girls after what came out of said laundry, and just overall stressing about last minute wedding details... I came on DIS for a little bit to wind down before heading off to work.
Seven days, baby!! I'm going to enjoy the wedding (it's VERY small, like 25 people at a state park) but honestly, my mental countdown is to the day we arrive at the gates of the Magic Kindgom.
